It posible that Toyota will return in fall 2020, the same season the PS5 will do its debut, NFS should take NFS Heat and add the Cockpit view and improve the physics a bit more and do a Toyota DLC promo with 7 cars and one free MK5 Supra. The 7 car pack price should be reasonable. Yes $5.99 for the entire pack. The 7 car are: Lexus LFA, MK4 Supra, AE86, Toyota Prius, Toyota Corolla XSE HB, Toyota Tundra TRD and the FJ40 Land Cruiser.

Man, the drifting/powersliding actually does slow you down, this is such a big step up!
The previous games had it so that it gave you a speed boost once you enter a drift. They removed it in this game, which I personally think that it's a great idea.

Just use hood cam. Hood cam is superior to all other views. Even though I prefer 3rd person myself
Playing an arcade game in 1st person is kinda awkward, at least for me, same thing goes to sim games in 3rd

Apologies! I increased volume on cut-scenes but as I had music enabled I have to turn it down. The music sets a mood for the game that the sound alone cannot. I'll work to fix it

The driving to the race start reminds me a lot of sorta Midnight Club. I have high hopes for this game. I also hope eventually they'll have wheel support.

@@quack9694 with drop knucles it is... notice real racecars are slammed to the ground and not tilt boi. There are ways to lower your car without ruining the alignment, that excessive camber is teenagers trying to emulate drift cars and drift cars do the excessive camber on purpose so their front wheels are straight when at full steering lock when they need the most grip in drifting.
They need that and an offset/track width setting like there was in NFS 2015

That was always a thing in Payback. The "Carbon Fiber" material is the new feature. Carbon Fiber panels were very easy in Payback if you used 2 decals: an actual carbon fiber pattern and a plain square decal in black.

so the game doesn't have a day and night cycle you just have to chose if you want to play daytime or nighttime?

Honestly, I wish that Heat had the option to have camera shake, like in ProStreet, or that crazy nitrous sound from The Run. But overall, this game is what I dreamed NFS would be, a gritty, down-to-detail street racing game. I love it.

Cautiously optimistic (as with every EA release that looks fun). I still expect a lot of fuckery from EA, but the gameplay looks enticing for the first time in a long time, and the story along with the antagonist definitely makes me want to experience it for myself. At the least it'll be worth waiting for it to be available for free ;)
What do you mean for free? Crack? This is probably online only, and NFS2015 is still not cracked so..
The least amount of money you can pay to EA to try this game will be their Origin Access Basic for like 4 euros, but only 10 hours of gameplay for that. With Origin Access Premiere for 15 eur, you get a whole month.
@@ElvenMans If they go the online only route and it isn't feasibly crackable, I would be fine supporting Ghost Games as a developer, at the cost of supporting EA as a publisher. I would really rather NOT have to rely on avoiding a purchase, so long as they can avoid EA sticking in loot boxes, shady micro-transactions, objectively superior pay-walled upgrades, etc. Ghost Games has put a lot of thought and effort into this game from the driving mechanics and cars, to the cop chases and the day/night system, so I would really prefer to support them, on the condition the game isn't broken by predatory EA practices. Admittedly I don't mind car packs, considering the online portion it would preserve the game's longevity, we'll have to see how they monetize it in the future though.

The game is great, I just wished they went more in depth with the tuning, Just by adding the ability to fine tune gear & final drive ratios would take the game to a next level. Anybody could get 1000hp but it really matters how your transmission is set up

Bunnydrum Crimblefinch yeah, i’m tired about this handling model which everyone praises how good it is, but its not, where the fu.k is the grip, all I see is the car go on understeer at any corners, this is not a grip. This game has two option for handling, heavy understeer or oversteer/drifting or powerslide. The grip handling is gone, Forza Horizon has a better handling, even its very hard to tune a car(differential, springs, antirol-bar, etc) the simcade handling in Horizon its very fun and good, nfs arcade physics look like a game for smartphone, which personaly i don’t like it and i think are some more people agree with me. Cheers!
