I think his dad was time traveller, and he get watch from him and he try to save his parents. But he has lost in time, he travel between life and death, and members too, Wonho is in the future, Changkyun is in the past, and he try to help them (Dramarama MV) and they feel it, so they start to looking for him and succesfully find him in train of time (Destroyer MV). This is a long story line, even from Fighter and All in MV throw Dramarama, Shoot out and Alligator. This is all connected and Find you is the beggining of the story.

My theory
-hyungwon lost his parents
-The guys went over to his house to cheer him up
- hyungwon found his dads time travel watch from dramarama and accidentally went back in time
- he messes with time to create the different realities in dramarama trying to save his parents or figure out how to get back
- the guys after the disappearance/loss of hyungwon all suffer in different ways throughout their life seen in the seven deadly sins
- in the end hyungwon says “if we are fated to be together then we will meet again?”
- ending the series.

If i remember correctly, the story ties in with a lot of their older mvs. the watch transports them to different universes (?) and their trying to get all back together. this is the flashback or like the pretence showing how that came to be. near the end it has scenes from Shine Forever, Dramarama, and some of their others. So the story goes like this,
Hyungwon had an accident with his parents then he survived but the parents passed away. His father had a time watch so hyungwon took it over and then played with time in trying to save his parents yet the consequances affected his friends which scattered them all in different time zones in pairs ( Minhyuk / I.M) (Jooheon / Kihyun) (Shownu / Wonho) *DRAMARAMA* *MV* so Hyungwon tries to find them and get them back together. They all accepted to play with time Again with Hyungwon; therefore, The 7 deadly sins were thrown to each one of them ( Are you there/ We are here ) era. *SHOOT* *OUT* + *ALLIGATOR*
The main guy in this is Hyungwon, imagine watching this and having him as ur ult bias, I was in pain :(
All the scenes at the end are from past MVs and videos, they are all connected, the watch has been introduced before in Dramarama to time travel.

he went back through time travel to try and save his parents, that’s why he was gone (the scene where he was drowning) and while trying to do that, he basically messed up the whole timeline, sending his 6 brothers to different places and stuff, so it’s kinda like they’re desperately trying to find him back (which explained their solo shots in the end).

The watch is a "time machine". You'll understand.
So I cried watching this video the first time, seeing Hyungwon in pain, hearing him cry, his friends coming over to make sure he's okay and stays safe, they're concern when they wake up to find him gone. But YOU SIR, saying 'this is too real' allowed me to step back from the mindset of this being a MV and my emotions got me shaking. I had a friend pass away in a car accident in 2013, I had just started college but she took a gap year. We were cheerleaders together in HS and the entire team got a call Friday morning and we all drove home, the HS students were excused from class, and we all spent the day together. It wasn't as happy as when the group visits Hyungwon but yes, you're right that people need to be there for each other. I don't know what I would've done had I not been with my friends that day.

So my theory is something that spans like a lot of MVs
FIND YOU: So Hyungwon's dad was one of these time travelers cause he owns the watch right. And then the incident happens where his parents die in the crash. He struggles to really live a normal life since and because the boys are worried, they move in to kind of be there for him. But Hyungwon goes through his dad's belongings and the watch is there. Which is still broken, and he uses it. And HW is stuck in this obvious limbo between 2047 (his world) and other timelines but not necessarily the same world. Wonho is the first to kind of "feel" the effects of HW being missing and eventually they all try to find out where he's gone. And this obv affects him the most as he looks like he's going to cry. He hasn't taken his pills, he's not answering his phone. All that's left is a messy study room.
FIND YOU/DRAMARAMA: HW somehow brings himself to various timelines where he tries to let the boys correct their "wrongs" in a sense. But all of these just live them in despair i.e. Shownu crying, even though i forget what MVs those belong to, Honey and Kihyun having to experience that crash were Kihyun takes Honey's place, Minhyuk and Kyun's situation where they're separated, ultimately leaving Minhyuk to cry to himself. And of course Wonho just I assume trying to be with Shownu/trying to find HW. But they're not meant to have the watches, which is why the men take it from them.
FIND YOU/THE CONNECT FILM: HW likes to talk of destiny a lot. "Was this all supposed to be our destiny? "(FIND YOU) "Slave of destiny that is tangled like a yarn, in the fence of wander...I am lost" (THE CONNECT FILM) So HW is still stuck in this limbo, unable to make it back to 2047. Which is why he's lost in the train. However, I feel like everyone has forgotten aside from Kihyun and Wonho. However, they still subconsciously feel the effects. By Honey and IM seeing him (and them) in the video feed. Shownu and Minhyuk painting something in relation to the train and time. But Kihyun and Wonho seem to work to try and find a formula as to why HW is lost. They both figure it out and move to find the others. To find the road that leads to HW. in the midst of this HW is trying to reach out to them which is why their ears begin to hurt because they hear the train or at least HW trying to reach out. Eventually they all find each other where the boys enter the same limbo HW is in and join him on the train.
SHOOT OUT/ALLIGATOR: So they all are stuck in this limbo world i assume, unable to really make it back to 2047. Which is why in both MVs, shit goes weird for them (like Kihyun going crazy at one point in Alligator). So it's safe to assume this limbo changed them "I'm lost somewhere, finding someone: (SHOOT OUT). The symbolism is there where HW is holding pills in Shoot Out and the clocks in Alligator.
This video is connected to the Dramarama mv! (The original, not the performance version). I didnt know it was going to happen until i watched this mv and i was blown away
This is a very good Theory i saw...
The watch was passed to Hyungwon after his dad who originally wore it died. Hyungwon is in the middle of life and death (the water scene). The members have to find him and save him.

In order to find/save him they all committed deadly sins, Hyungwon is not really there with them but sine there is one sin left they imagine him there as pride
(Alligator MV)
The have to live through those sins, they were imprisoned and felt like zombies, alive but not really. So they regretted, payed for their sins and changed their ways.
(Shoot Out MV)
They were given another chance but have gotten separated, stuck in different timelines. Jooheon and Kihyun were allowed to be together but only because one has a limited lifetime, one was bound to die in the car accident. In the end Hyungwon broke the rule of the time keepers, even if it is forbidden to changer the order to save someone's life he did it to save his friends.

Before Hyungwon was caught he put Jooheon in I.M's timeline and Kihyun in Wonho's, they need to be separated, also Shownu and Minhyuk found each other. Hyungwon was punished to be alone, stuck in a time loop for changing the order of things. The members are all safe and alive, they follow the clues Hyungwon left them. Then they all meet again on the train.

This is a prequel to the Dramarama MV, and Destroyer MV (and possibly all the others). You need to watch Dramarama, Destroyer, and All In now.
Btw there is going to be another MV too, I believe. Their schedule says there is going to be a Follow MV Teaser on the 25th.
This is the beginning of their universe. The time travel really kicks off with Dramarama, and this explains how Hyungwon got the watch and how he started dabbling with it. Fighter and All In are kind of alternate universe ish, as a consequence of Hyungwon meddling with time. The main theme running through the whole story is that the boys are destined to be together and they will somehow find each other no matter what world or timeline they're in.

Okay. I don't know if someone explained to him. But here I go again.
This is the prequel to the time travel series. This is how Hyungwon turned into the time travel guy. For wanting to bring his parents back, he separated from his friends and they all went separate ways. The different focus on the members are their other lives (Dramarama, Jealousy, Alligator) they're all suffering in different ways because of Hyungwon's actions. But at the same time Hyungwon wonders at the end "If we're really meant to be together, then we will meet again, right?" And they do. On Destroyer. When the other six members are all a type of genius, they finally manage to find Hyungwon.
The message is clear "We're Monsta x if we're together, at our best. Not any other way."
Watch Dramarama so you'll eventually get along with it. Dramarama is the most important part of the whole storyline.

in find you, Hyungwon is with his father's (?) watch when he vanishes what makes us think that he time travelled so he might be "stuck" somewhere in the future
his friend didn't find him, so they must have thought that Hyungwon died or something like that so they move on with their lives
Hyungwon decided he doesn't want to comeback to the past where all the memories of his parents deaths are still fresh so he decides he wants to help his friends from where he is.
OR
when he vanishes its like a metaphor of his death, so when he helps his friends in dramarama is because his soul "can't rest" knowing his friends aren't at piece

If you want to know more about it you have to watch Dramarama and Destroyer .. this MV is the rest of these two MVs ..it's about time ,traveling in time and dejavu ..the boy(Hyungwon) that lost his parents, in two last MVs use the watch to switch into the time but this isn't good to do it for many times so the other members and he hurt because of using the watch to switch into the time so in Dramarama Joohoney died in car accident when he left Kihyun but Kihyun happened to be there. Kihyun went to see Hyungwon (the boy who felt in water in this MV) to help him and switch into the time to replace Joohoney with Kihyun ..so Kihyun died instead of Joohoney. then fans say in this MV Hyungwon want to save his friend Kihyun too so he sacrificed his parents and himself but he didn't die ..that's why he was sad.😊

Also, in terms of this music vid and the story that Monsta X is trying to tell with their music vids, I think I do a little bit of explaining but I’m still trying to figure it out myself. I think that re-watching the Dramarama music video helped clear up some of my questions because I’m pretty sure dramarama happens after this music vid in their timeline. I’ve seen a few posts about this music vid and I think that Hyungwons dad knew a lot about time travel, and when they got into the crash hyungwon ends up resorting to using the time travel watch to turn back time. However, because time travel is tricky I think he ends up getting stuck in some sort of time loop, which is the water scene. That’s really all I can tell you haha but I hope it helps a little :) keep being amazing and thanks for giving Monsta X the appreciation they deserve ❤️

From what I gather, the watch was his father’s, and he went back in time to try and save his parents. But doing so causes trouble for the other MX boys. And this trouble was shown in Drama Rama. And then the all come together again in Connect. So this vid shows flashes of scenes from Drama Rama and Connect to punch the time travel thing more.
Drama Rama, Connect and Find me tell a story of Time travel. All in and Fighter tell one that involves a flower. Shoot out and Alligator tell another that involves the 7 sins- there is another video from the concert that connects Shoot out and Alligator together.

Even though Hyungwon was depressed from losing his parents, I don't think he was attempting suicide. The watch is a device is a time traveling device, that were are assuming was invented by his father. When he disappears, it is because he accidentally time traveled and got stuck in time. That is why the other members are searching for him and are unable to find him. The scenes it shows are from other MVs and show various events that occur as Hyungwon is travelling through time, and ends up in different timelines trying to help his friends. I believe some of the other scenes shown are the other members searching for him in the present (2047 as shown on the watch) when he disappeared.
If you had to watch other MVs to understand, then watch Dramarama and Destroyer (The Connect). Find You was the prequel to these. Also watch The Connect VCR part 2.
Ok easy explaination. Its all start from FIND YOU. How at the beginning hyungwon start became a time traveller in order to bring back the previous time but accidently mess up the time line.
And then you can continue to find answer in DRAMARAMA. At this time Hyungwon already became time traveler to find all his brothers. But still they can't regconize who hyungwon is.
And lastly, all of them realize they were actually knew each other, connected to each other and they're the one who looking back for hyungwon. Here you can find happy ending in DESTROYER.
And don't forget for extra explaination in MONSTA X 2018 VCR. It will explain everything. Well all of MX's mv are related to one another . Like they have part 1 2 & 3

I think that when he lost his parents and he wake up with the guys who are sleeping, he go to see the watch and them we see a lot of images from Dramarama because I think he travel in time to the past, before the accident, before he meet them and begins this journey with the others boys. In final of this video he was if we see again if this happen, his death, the death of his parents, or something like that. And on the beginning of the video we listen one sound I recognize from Alligator mV, and in the end we see Shownu with a light... the same light he use in alligator mV to blow that house? I think the others mvs like dramarama and all in and maybe alligator to (like after the death of him) are related... maybe I’m but I love this music, they vocals are insane, all of them really sing (IM too!!) and I really love and I think with this video we can understand them better, not like idols but like the real people they are, their integrity with others, their values and love... I think is a metaphoric MV and is genial!!!🥰
