    I appreciate the honesty. I currently have this in my backlog, amd I hope whoever is making a stand for this makes it so that it mouns from/on the back, and comes with a modifier for the ball joint waist section. Or a metal frame entirely.

    I find the shoulder joints to be extremely tight. Do you recommend sanding or drilling the joints to make the looser or will just joining the joint parts with some more force be ok?

    • @MetalmanX
      @MetalmanX  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I didn't really have that issue but if you feel they are too tight start with light sanding. Don't forget though that if you send too much you loose rigidity at the shoulder which would make holding the weapons more difficult

    I didn't know that it didn't have an inner frame (which would have really helped with the wait of the backpack) and the lack of a good action base is bit disappointing...
    I'm still considering to buy it but I would need a lot of prep and extras before doing so.
    Again, thanks for the review dude 🤟🤟🤟

    Good video sir, it gives some expectation to me for when mine arrives. It is sad that seed backpack issue still present in this kit but I'm kinda expecting that. And what funny is I saw this picture online that this kit towering 1:100 Buster and I was like that's not right for a Stargazer be that much taller than a Buster until I see the box picture says 1:99.9, really funny China, I guess.

    11:50 i'm in the middle of finishing it and i already noticed this problem. There is no way you be able to use standard mg stand. They should go with attachment point in the chest/backpack or between them. Like in three MG seed models.

    Or metal/peg joint insted ball one like Motor Nuclear is doing

      Of course. You can always thicken the joints with a little paint or clear coat to help the stability. It is a beautiful kit and I honestly think it's worth the time to build but the OOB experience leaves a lot to be desired when compared to the competition this year.

If you panel line after assembly it is really important to lay down a super glossy top coat before adding the panel line fluid to protect the bare plastic

    I think for the price, the design, detail, and overall looks and gimmicks of it makes up for that poor stand, and ball joint connector for the waist/torso. If bandai made this you would see it priced at least double that.

    • @MetalmanX
      @MetalmanX  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed it would be more if Bandai made it. My biggest isn't the stand but the overall longevity of the kit. It is really a kit to set and forget. It was very ambitious but considering the company that made it said that quality control was their top priority these kind of issues should have been caught early on.
