it could be 40 years from now and i'd still probably rave about this game. classic maplestory (i stopped playing shortly after pirates came out) has got to be my greatest mmorpg experience of all time. so many years have passed and now we have flashier games like BDO but they don't have a fraction of the heart and soul classic maplestory had

I loved the Old MapleStory because of the community. I believe I expanded my buddy list like 3 times because I met so many great people on the game. It makes me sad that Nexon made the game unbalanced (so many OP classes unlike the original 4) and that a lot of the old community aspects of the game were taken out. Remember those endless days of doing party quests (Kerning PQ, Ludi PQ), henehoeing, making guilds, chatting with other people on boat rides, gathering 2 guild's worth of people to kill Zakum--what ever happened to the Maple I once knew?
Ahh...I'll never forget how magical those days of my life were...even if I was more impressionable as a kid haha
