i gotta admit, they kept a lot of the essence of the original songs while updating the quality and putting a unique spin on them. im honestly really liking ms2
I don't think nexon made them. Nexon published the game, nsquare developed the game. And since ms2 is still a korean product, the music team is probably koreans aswell.

Man I'm not gonna doubt how many things wrong there was in ms2 And there was alot, an INSANE amount of problems that, if were fixed sooner, could've kept the game alive for a little bit longer. All that said, compared to the trash 1 button grind that we still have right now.. Ms2 had so much life in it, this is still what I think of when it comes to mmos. Bossing, dailies, weeklies, mini games, meeting people and chilling..

It's like a throwback to old maple with a little sprinkle of cheer. You of course wouldn't have known this, but it's kind of like a reward for old players who stick through with the composition hehe.

YouNoo4 I'm so glad you're giving it a chance (: a lot of veterans dismiss the game for not being like the original but having tried the beta, I feel like its a completely different experience that manages to evoke a similar sense of fantasy and wonder that the first did so well. The music most certainly plays a role in this. While not as ear catching as the first, the songs are incredibly pleasant to explore with and really help shape the story driven narrative that MS2 seems to focus more on than MS1. If you ever get to playing MS2, let's party up! (:

This is sad. It maybe wasn't the best game in the world, it had it's flaws, but still it's sad that it's shutting down. I don't understand why they put so much work into this game, and then they just shut down it after 1 year.

The recent change related to the cash shop boxes was made to align NA server to JP and KR business model received so much backlashes. GM was constantly on the subreddit explaining the company's decisions. They announced the shut down 1 week after that. One of the player's argument was "it's March but the login screen is still showing snow. Just shows how much they care about the game" and GM answered that winter ends in mid March and that it is scheduled to show spring theme in late March/early April. Player ignored response and continue to complain about something else of course.
