Mark, have you noticed when a foreigner asks for a destination you sometimes answer back in the same foreign accent LOL like the guy that asked for Big Ben 😂😂😂
It's normal in human nature to mimic the accents you hear. I use to work in a warehouse when I was younger and there were a lot of Polish workers. I would find myself sometimes pronouncing words in a Polish accent occasionally, and one of my British colleagues I would notice accent completely changed towards the end of the day and I sometimes couldn't distinguish him from other workers when he was on a different aisle and I couldn't see him
I thought I was just in pigeon English mode using as few words as I could to be understood instead of rambling and confusing the customer. I’ll take a look at my accent work! Hey thanks for watching I really appreciate it 🙏🏻
Wormwood because of the park behind the prison. Also possibly related or not wormwood is a medicinal herb used on parasitic worms perhaps relating to the prisoners inside! 😂 lovely job to Gatwick Mark 👌
Hi Mark, I’ve noticed with your videos that as you start work in west London, your jobs stay in west London, you didn’t go any further east than Big Ben today. I’ve notice that drivers who start in east London, the majority of their jobs are nearer the City. This obviously makes sense as customers don’t want to pay fares from one side of London to the other. Of course if you started from a neutral position, say Waterloo or Euston you could spend your day working wherever your first job took you, east or west London.
Yes, my patch is always west based and also that gives me good access to the airport. When I do get a job east I’m always heading back west. I’m not interested in working the city anymore because of road restrictions. For me west is best 😊
Hi Mark History. The prison lies at the southern end of the ancient park of the same name. The name "Scrubs" refers to scrubland while Wormwood - Artemisia absinthium - is a grey-foliaged sub-shrub, common on wasteland, which was traditionally used as a herb for the treatment of parasitic worms.
Another great movie. Didn’t know MAM did tyres. Great you got agreement to take M4 to Gatwick, gotta beat schlepping through Putt Knee & Chessington or Ewell.

Best of the taxi videos, a lot of edit ✍🏼 work. Brilliant
Great video as always. It would be great to see a 'What I take/have in my London Taxi' video.
Great videos. Keep up the good work

Hi Mark, this was one of the best videos so far!! Thank you.
Love the beginning of your videos!
Regarding the tyres, Acton lane NW10 just next to harlesden Station
There's a good place there called Eagle tyres
It's nice how often you drive past the Peninsula and even mention it. I'll be staying there in November. Greetings from Germany.

Mark is such a character always entertaining 👊
Lovely episode again 👍

Yep let’s hope it takes off in a big way soon. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Excellent...👍.
Hi mark great video good job thanks
What I like about your vlogs is that you are honest and dont mind saying how much you earned. How long did take you to complain knowledge?
3 years and 6 months. And thanks for watching 🙏🏻
The gatwick fare is £226 before commission
That's crazy
It would be if the punter asked to go via the M4 and M25. Shorter routes, but longer time wise are available

You couldn't get the tyre fixed at another place?
I’m currently renting so this is the garage the proprietor uses for tire changes.
How much was the airport job to pay so much commission
Commision was 32 pounds, 18% of the fare, thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@ 2:00 no beautiful food & coffee like that, at that price, in the U.S.
Mark why didn’t you stay at Gatwick and work?
Can’t get job back unless I manage to get a ping off the app. Pretty sure I’m not allowed to work there as well. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
9:02 Is the van in front considered a Black Cab or not? Also: Is this rank Green badge exclusive rank?
Yes to both.
@nabilomar is spot on, yes to both and thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Mark, what's happened to your vlogs. None for over 2 weeks. It's Thurs 13 June. Please explain?
You have a great video voice
Oh thank you
do you ever get oddball jobs like "follow that car!" or "follow that guy"?
I’ve had that more than once yes! It’s quite exciting, like being in a movie!
Complying on acroad is staying on the same road, even when it's possible to turn off?

Excuse the lack of knowledge but are Mercedes Vans allowed to be taxis in London?
Yep the Merc vito got the go ahead many years ago. It’s not available now to buy. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
What is the average time to do the Knowledge and what is the shortest?
I think it’s about 3 to 3half years, I was part time. If you did it full time you can get it done in 2 years, thanks for watching 🙏🏻

I think he owns his own cab, but best let Mark reply.

£34 to Gatwick?
You are officially thick.
the gatwick job was an app job the £34 is the app commission
34/15 x 100 £226
As the comments say that was indeed just the commision the fare was considerably more. Thank you for watching Hans 🙏🏻
