Aww I spent all of last year tapping my awakening BS and I am on tap 64...unfortunate it starts at just this year...i'll probably be only at like 24...atleast there is a light at the end of the tunnel now.

I couldn't quite see the yellow tier gear for horses, does it also include this pity? Bcs it's lowkey the worst thing to get since u can't cron it...

Do you know what happens if the accessory got destroyed? Do you retain the pity for the same type of accessory or it has to be that specific one which got destroyed?
I like the pity system it basically changes nothing appart from the times you get super unlucky.
That's what it's for. That's why it's called pity system, not generosity system.
It makes whaling a lot easier. Probably means less outfits on the market because the whales can just cron themselves to success

You still spent the Silver on the materials. You still spent over a years worth of Valks to fail clicks over and over on one item.
Or, "Get Lucky" and save YEARS WORTH OF MATERIALS (Valks) for all PEN Weapons, or HUNDREDS of hours of farming. There's no pity when you're ALREADY GIGA FUCKING FUCKED.
I’m full pen down 400b gave up on enhance and just bought my last pen disto and pen bs sub weapon XD. This is great news for you guys now your silver won’t 100% go to waste. They need to lower the numbers a bit 40 fails for guaranteed pen bs is way too much, that’s 2x above average. Best change pa has ever made :)

At last pity sistem for manos life skill armor & carrack blue gear, it's the most frustrating to enchant
More bad karma changes makes the system overly punishing. I feel like the whole karma system needs a rework.

The game needs to remove the forced PVP and karma altogether. Give players what they want, a PVE servers.

@@TodorStamatov removing flagging up is a big hit to immersion. without it , its souless. imagine a game with such combat and such variety of classes and only thing you can hit is reskinned mobs until you get gray hair...and this is coming from someone who never bother people grinding.
having 2x arsha is not enough. you have marni realm if you want to avoid interactions with other players. people like you will be the death of this game. its enough that a big chunk of pvpers left when they implemented a joke of a change regarding guild war declarations.

It's a good system. But its a system which should have been in the game for years already. In fact if it had been in back then BDO would probably be a much bigger game now.

Two things: I might be wrong in thinking this but, I don’t think the Pen pity tap affects most players. The other thing is, would we want this for T10 horses?
It doesn't because most people should fall into the average in the 20s... the pity really only affects outliers with really bad rng

make sure those attempts are after January 1st. Only those fails are pre-counted.

The pity system honestly gives new sense of progression for people who want to enchant gear and have their own name. Before it was all money and work lost if u failed, now you actually can see that you are getting closer no matter what. For example my PEN BS mainhand took 98 attempts to go through. So yeah. Thats 2 Successful PEN BS with this new system.

If they went back a year, I’d have shit couple pen black stars. My luck has been horrible… And this year, the luck continues as I have been clicking less.

So you could just buy 10 J's Hammer of Precision, a TET Debo, and then click it to PEN costing like 430mil (?) 130 ish mil more then you buy it for. May as well do it that way.
Well that is worst case and I am pretty sure we will see more sitting on market now that there is a pity system. Guess we will need to wait and see. But also you have to consider the tet fails and tri fails too, so 1 pen attempt means you need 20 tets to fail.

I got 2 dreams manually (without the free ones) both at 5 and 7 taps and my head got so huge with success until I tried my 3rd and waisted billions failling 52 times.

Still don't get skil this way. All they did is make the whales more comfortable investing because they have an assured threshold.
With our pity system, when you reach it, you now know that it costed you 3-4 times the price of the item on the market, enjoy! :)

The entire BDO upgrade system is a joke and needs to be revamped big time. I wonder how many players have walked away from BDO because of their frustrations with the gear enhancement system.

I believe it's accumulated overall. I.e. for blackstar like he said, you can tap all forms of blackstar and it will add to the total pity count

PA are 8 years too late to add pity enhancement system that is subpar to save bdo community who were already broken by BDO's terrible enhancement system. But still better than nothing, I guess.
They encourage new comers and creation of second account for this generous system. A stable population is what makes PA still in business.
I don't think that really it was always there choice to buy from cm I start playing bdo 4 years ago and i didn't enhance anything except my fallen god shoes and gloves and rest of my gear I bought it and I 745 gs

Because Fallen God level items have a pity stack of 1000 to get to PEN...and they'll be releasing Fallen God-level weapons soon. That's A LOT of cron to waste on all that gear.
This is just a bandaid to make this insane upgrade system more palatable. All they have to do is remove the downgrade penalty for failed enhancements. The loss of your upgrade materials is punishment enough.

yeah it would have been better, at least it would have cost only 1.5 times the price of the item on the market. If you hit pity with 40 and used cron every time, it would have cost you 3-4 times the market price.

Im not against this system. Some people have terrible rng and they need some way to enhance successfully. But game is definitely more p2w now 😅

Black star on the market is 125mil, 40 attempts for pity is 400bil.. it doesn't make sense. I could basically buy 3 best weapons in the game before with some change for a single pity reward
