- It's something we're taught in elementary school biology: plants use sunlight and water to turn carbon dioxide into food, in a process called photosynthesis. But now scientists at Cambridge University are replicating this process using light absorbers and specially-designed catalysts to produce a carbon neutral alternative to petrol called Syngas. Shini Somara reports.

OMG its ridiculous to make everything artificial.
Just grow algae instead of trees 😉
Another technology that could change a lot. Great video.
*that will not scale
hello
If only "Political Science" wasn't 5000 years behind Material Science ...
what is the toxiciticy of the materials and how much leeches into the water during the transition ( what is the binding material is it Cobalt still? or gallium you have a low heat transition metal ) you are using some rare elements... you are focusing on small elements and rare elements ... issue is controlled heat issues plus the other issues hit ( storage of gasses ) storage and leeching of toxic elements into the 1% of the drinkable water on earth
poverties your a nerd
Chroloriphil helped made transition lenses for eyeglass then it too can make sugar and fuel too but how efficient is we not sure yet but biochemistry involve can be used in many areas
Contrast of color and the rate of changing them is key of all creation and polarization is helping make that possible and review material specoscopy then use color to recreate material in water make it fuel
Can you explain your point?
Pls explain it more because i want to present it
