That is one of the most amazing nope I think the best buffet I have ever seen in my life maybe I have not gone to many but this buffet is amazing I want to go here
Ok fine! Another buffet on my list to try! 😂😊 But I totally agree with you! You should definitely do a video staying there for two days eating the hot and cold dishes!!
@@leonnguyen1442 I don’t think anyone expects anyone to each crunchy bread with a fork. He eats a lot of things with his hands that we wouldn’t in the states. Easier to maximize the amount of food eaten during that two hour period, though.
as a Frenchman and proud of his country's cuisine, I would suggest you try some very French specialties Marseille bouillabaisse: an excellent fish soup one of the 3 cassoulets (Toulouse, Carcassone and Casternaudary): a bean stew with meats Strasbourg Sauerkraut in the east: cabbage prepared, like kimchi but without its spices, with pieces of pork or fish and much rarer in the west, in Brittany, "kig-haz fartz": a kind of stew with buckwheat flour, some call it "Breton couscous"
Interesting video, nice to see a foreigner soenthusiastic but outta curiosity what did you drink ? Did you try some wine., local beverage? I plan on going there someday but I am curious how the drinks would raise your bill up? tx
17:00 that was a vol au vent and if they did the traditional version it's neither foie gras neither duck but ris de veau, it's the thyroid of a calf :)
Yo Mikey , I think the soup was a bisk , it's a sea food soup using lobster ,crab, longastines as a base stock, then cream , tomatoes and usually a good brandy .😊
Thanks for sharing but you pointed to langoustines and said "crawfish" and pointed to anchovies when you said sardines. The soup was almost certainly seafood bisque but instead of dumping shredded cheese in, they would probably suggest you put a piece of baguette toast on top and cheese on that...or just don't have cheese with seafood soup
The grocery store makes sandwiches everyday here in Southern California, But Daaaammm, I love seeing this Grub, I ate three plate loads in my imagination !!! @Foodiechats
Thought buffets in Vegas were large; nothing compared to that one. Yep would have to go back a couple times at least. Hope you say what the price is. Thanks.
When you're going to such an extravagant buffet, it's better to dress for comfort than to dress for style. Also, look at the other attendees, they're all wearing comfortable clothes.
As a french personn we truly don't care and in this kind of buffet you shouldn't overdress. A lot of people are coming in holidays (it's in the south of France) overthere so it's a chill place.
I have never seen a buffet rolled out with such exquisite food and presentation.
I literally feel the excitement just as if I was with Mike eating there
Mike high voice,"ooohthisthemostbeatuifulthingIhaveseeninmywholelife"!!!!! Thanks for letting us come along!!!!!

Makes the American "All you can Eat" establishments look like troughs where animals are fed.
😂

A suit? naw your attire doesn’t matter to us! Just the fact that you take us along 🎉is so appreciated! Thank you 🙏
Two of hours of eating... "Is crazy I feel kind hungry again" 🤣
Definitely makes golden corral & pizza buffets look like a soup kitchen. Thats a dream buffet!
Great video again strictly dumping is my favourite TH-cam channel for years
So much food in world, yet many are still going to bed hungry at night.😢
I just had lunch so I am not hungry and yet you made my mouth water.
Mike at a fancy buffet is like a card counter beating the casino
My favorite buffet. I've been so lucky to experience it 8 times as my cousin lives in Narbonne. The pate abd foie gras 👍❤️🤪
Wow!
Wow 50 US bucks??? I was guessing at least 150.00 to 200.00
The price since then has increased, at 57 euros. But still...
That’s so cheap !
@@24lascauxwhat a useless comment😂 the couple of euros have nothing to do with the comment.
@@Hermanos22yes it does. There’s quite a difference between $50us and 57 euros
@@bbym1313 - yea its 61.83 US dollars. A whopping 4.83 difference.....
Great spread; watching him drink straight out of that soup bowl as if he were in Japan was funny.
Thanks for showing French food ! This is only a fraction of what we can make in France. You need to try regional specialties!
Ok fine! Another buffet on my list to try! 😂😊
But I totally agree with you! You should definitely do a video staying there for two days eating the hot and cold dishes!!
just seeing you enjoying it makes me happy for you . Proud of my country cuisine :)
Definitely on my now bucket list. I could spend an entire week going there daily.
Me too!
I'm from Narbonne
And yes that's the best buffet in the world highest quality..
Mr Privas the owner runs it like a gustative art show..
Merci Mike
I guess it's the first time Americans heard of Narbonne city!!

I bet they don't get to eat anything any leftovers will be left till the next day
I saw a video about this buffet before. Far more detail thanks to Mikey. TY for sharing.
Eatting with your hands at this upper class buffet was funny to me 😂
It's France, you can.
Asterix don't eat his wild boar with a fork ;)
So you eat pieces of cheese and a crunchy bread with a fork? :)... Americans eat cheese samplers with their hands, get over it.
How is it upper class when it costs $50 for all you can eat😏

The Pressed Duck Looked Yummy. That Dish is not Easy To Prepare Properly
That was a great video Mike! Really made me feel hungry though and now I absolutely have to go there!
Cheers
wow that's really amazing place. I love they take measures to ensure hygiene. And just the look of the place is amazing.
I`ve heard about this Amazing buffet and love your video review.
The intro instrumental told me to tell you I'm single 🎾 the music is beautifully soulful

I loved that I’m a little out of my depth here with the French cuisine comment. Cute and so real. 😂
2:15 you should have grilled the pigeon for breakfast🤣

The Nordic is $120…this kills it!!
going to save this video and be on my bucket list, this place puts all the American AYCE buffet to shame
I remember this from a few years back. If you ever want to cover the entire offering of Le Grand Buffets, ask Joel Hansen to collaborate.
Nice
My chin dropped to the floor when I heard the cost. Wow!
I still say Mike should have dressed for the venue.
When you're going to such an extravagant buffet, it's better to dress for comfort than to dress for style. Also, look at the other attendees, they're all wearing comfortable clothes.

It's a buffet for crying out loud, who even dresses up for one? Europeans don't even care so why are you lot making such a fuss?
Not only that but he needs to work on some proper etiquette as far as eating skills.Ugh!
Thats a great deal!
that first sandwich looks awesome dude
I think I would spend a whole week there just to enjoy everything and more. Hey next time you need someone who speaks french keep me on your mind lol
had to watch this twice

Mike, didn’t you go to the same buffet a few years ago?

I am amazed, you have been to narbonne :)
The chipped soup dish could have received a citation from an inspector in my country.
ill stay there a week!
All the pomp and ceremony and you have a chipped soup bowl 🤔🧐
Dude documents eating in preparation to eat 😂
