Its actually mixed for me. I love the reps that sakurai is making. Actually, I had no idea who Terry bogard is and what fatal fury was, but I still respect the fact that his moveset, used in the right way, is bullshit.

@@knine1359 yeah it's not hard her recovery is like joker's. With that information you know you can get free kills at like 50 percent by getting them off stage and hitting them once and they're dead. Truthfully play as Luigi get byleth to 40-60. Running attack to knock them off and then Nair of fair and they can't do anything

At 7:18 if you look in the radar you can see that they tried to airdodge in, but when you air dodge it pulls you slightly in the opposite direction first and that put them in the blast zone
Byleth honestly has my dream move set. It’s like Robin, Captain Falcon, Cloud, and Ganon combined into one character (and a little bit of Joker up B), and those are some of my favorite characters to play. I can’t say they’ll end up being a high tier for sure, but either way they are fun as heck to play.

The tip on Byleths Fsmash is insane, i was playing some matches with some friends of mine earlier and it killed me at 45% on center stage. Overall really fun character and not dissapointed as some people are.

I did some math now idk how damage is measured in game with the stat card but for those who care. Throughout the entire match he did 229.2 points of damage and recieved 295.2 points of damage. Hope this helps somewhat.

Tips:
-Which of Byleth's moves absolutely wreck shields? All of them. Have fun!
-All the spear attacks are stronger at the tip. Obviously.
-If you're trying to Up B spike someone, face away from the ledge. That whip is so long that if you're facing the ledge, it'll grab on no matter how deep you go.
-Yes, you can turn around while the Down B and Neutral B moves wind up. For the bow, though, you've got to be quick about it, because once it starts charging to the second stage, you're committed to shooting the whole thing in the current direction.
-Down B sticks the axe into ledges if you use it on your way back to the stage. Tricky, but useful. And hilarious!
-Or the opposite, using Down B while standing right next to a ledge makes it dip down a bit. Gets rid of hangers-on and people standing below a fall-through platform!
-Speaking of fall-through platforms, Down B lets you drop through the platform while it winds up. No other move does this, so make use of it as much as possible before the public gets used to it!
-Up B not only grabs ledges, but also walls! You'll kick off the wall as if it was a fighter. Might be important to remember on custom stages.

If you didn’t know, Byleths Up Special can actually grab the sides and bottom of the stage, not just the ledge, this makes Byleth just that much better.

Just a tip
If Byleth's up hits a wall it grapples and boosts you up and walljumps, after that you can still up B. Basically an infinite recovery if a stage has walls at the ledge like Kalos.
