The person that you are when no one is looking besides Him. The person you strive to be. Humbled, quieted, willing, softened, wanting. The person David was. The person I want to be.

I love the way you crafted your Scripture writing journal - I do Scripture writing each morning in a special journal myself and find it very valuable - to answer your question, I think we have an upright heart only because of Jesus and that is a terrific reason for praise!

And a little thing I wanted to tell u and ask u is that, I thought you were gonna explain briefly the verses that you were writing too. I mean it will be so helpful, so I just really hope that you're gonna explain it too. Thank u for actually doing what you're doing. Love ya and respect ya a lot
Thank you for getting the community started in FB, Filming this video and sharing your beautiful crafting. So excited to get working on this ... I am using my biblestudy ring binder. My answer to your question is...having an upright heart is being as clear of hate and grudges. If I have those distractions I can not hear God speak to me and get the full blessings.
Good question, Elyssa! I actually wrote out another 3 versions of 119:7 as “upright” heart was a little different. The Good News version uses “pure” heart so we must give thanks with a pure heart and accept His judgments and corrections.
I believe that Praising the LORD with an upright heart means: to praise Him with a heart that believes his word. Praise Him with a heart that truly believes that He is the ALMIGHTY GOD...and He will fulfill His promises to us.
Helen Beamon I had asked another TH-camd the same thing lol. (Cat Woods) she rewrites the books of the Bible. It’s just another way to stay in the word. If you like to write sometimes writing helps to keep the words in your mind and helps to get better understanding. I guess as your writing things pop out that you might not have seen while reading. The best advice I can give is just to try it out and see what the Lord shows you... blessings!
