I know this song isn’t representative of what their fans like about them, but i bought the CD due to this song and now their older music has a new fan.
This song pops up randomly in the middle of I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry...it was single handedly the best part of the movie if only because it completely threw me to hear it being played in a big studio movie in the 00's. (The album this is on is pretty darn underrated, much much better then the A Date With The Smithereens album that would nearly kill their career in 94.)
Somewhere this song is playing on Nottingham Way in the Village Green in Hillsboro. Maybe in Manville, too. I can hear it on Brooks Blvd by Addonizio’s house........
So Jim's got a 620/12 with a broken scratchplate and Mike's using the 4002/3 rather than the blackstar one he used. I don't think that's Jim's 340 in front of the amp, it's got 3 pick-ups but it's too short in comparison to the other 620/12 beside it (the one in natural maple) so that must mean it's a 325!. But the stars must be those Rickenbacker Transonic amps that someone found in a museum. Wonder if they worked.
Funny you should say that! Did you know that they produced a Beatles tribute album called "Meet the Smithereens"? They covered early Beatles songs very well. True fact. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/dUeodN7r0RA/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
I love crenshaw but can't replace Pat there as dead as the Beatles as a band had a coworker give me green thoughts on cassette before I left never forget him
That bridge with the strings........my God.....Perfect.
What a great singer he was. Rest in peace, Pat DiNizio.
This song is sooooo smooth..
RIP Pat ,thank you for all the joy sir ♠️♠️♠️

Saw these guys in concert twice. That’s not enough.

That smirk at 0:41 makes me weak in the knees

Breaks my heart💔! Pat's passing leaves a void that cannot ever be filled!
R.I.P. to Pat DiNizio, who passed away Tuesday (12/12)....
Love this song, showing versatility, depth and soulfulness!!
Cool little song from 1992. I once owned the CD - it had an orange, red & white cover from memory.
What happened to it? Also, was it the parent cd, or a cd single?
@@joeymorvant161 It was the album called Blow Up!. I think I sold it years ago. It's not rare, should be available on ebay.
@@aus80srockradio94 Ok. Thank you!
The album cover's artwork can be seen on the bass drum in this video.
I still have the cassette tape and it still plays fine.
This should have more likes.

Thank you, Pat.
I still think they are unrated
Rickenbacker bass! The band has yet another great tune!
