I was in Holland in the summer of '64. There were riots every night on the Dam Square in Amsterdam. The youth were very rebellious. It was the mood of the time.

Not their first performance out Out England! They played in Montreux and had even been to the USA!!

Was NOT first performance outside of England. They played earlier at the Montreux festival:
20th April: UK TV (ARTV) 'Ready, Steady, Go!' at The Golden Rose
International TV-festival, Montreux, Switzerland. Incl.
- Mona (Ellas McDaniel)
- Route 66 (Bobby Troup)
- Not Fade Away (Norman Petty/Charles Hardin Holly)
Note: Broadcast on the 24th April. All songs uncirculating.
And they even played in the USA
5th June - 20th June: 1st US Tour.
True is that it was the first (and shortest) performance that ended in a riot outside of Britain.
