This (the shadow strikes on the build) can be pulled further. The base cost of a shadow strike is 60 focus (a level 80 ring has around 240, so 4 chains). With the reduction from mystic bow it becomes 36. Having ranged prestige at 100 (a pain, i know) gives you back 20 focus per hit, and the Modifier you currently (or at least at time of posting) have on the bow, which gives back 15 focus per hit, gets you a total of 35 focus recovery, or a loss of only 1 point of focus per strike. Before anyone asks, no, the modifiers for focus on kill on ring and armor dont work here, the game for some reason doesnt count stealth chain kills kills. Which is good because it means we can keep other bonuses on the set while going ham with shadow strike, only really stopping when we get bored, everyone is dead or we hit a captain. Which will take a lot of damage. A lot. Personally i would run it with isildur's ring(205 focus at Max level), so When you kill everyone you raise them. Hell, use the skill to enrage them too using wrath, gg to anyone Who somehow survived. Hell, rock the drippened servant armor so they half of the time come back. Sieges May be the only way that will work probably
So, Mindmender & maxed Ranged Prestige will grant true infinite shadow strike chain? Do you, by chance, know how to farm Mindmender? It's the only piece of the puzzle I need
Also I'm a bit late but undead orcs count as dominated orcs. So if you can run the ringwraith (with blackened servant armor) set you get an army of absurdly durable orcs that can come back from the dead.
Great suggestion! I just rerolled might on crit for that chest to keep the same feel as my current build but with the extra undead benefit. I look cooler to boot!

I just bought the game a few days ago... I think I overleveled a bit. I'm level 31 when I killed my first warchief... He was below 15. I always "clear out" the captains listed on the "army" tab first before proceeding to the story so maybe that's why and always using death threats to enemies to add more fun but they die too fast because I'm overleveled. The one that I had quite a bit of trouble was that the legendary uruk with the title of "Flame of War" but just shot him in the head and strike for a few times then shadow kill to decapitate, he was the first and only Uruk to kill me, for now. I know they will be replaced soon but there's a small period of time where the dead is not replaced by a new one to the point you'll have no captain to kill and that's where I do the main quest.
Try "advanced time" (i think thats the name) it will add/replace more captains in the region. You can find it when fast travelling idk just saying in case you didt know. Also if you underlevel them try playing on nemesis its not that hard
If you have maxed out Ranged Prestige, this build becomes truly unstoppable. You lose, at most, 1-2 focus per chain attack, so you can literally keep a chain going for hundreds of kills without running out. Combine that with Mask of the Empress, and you can legitimately one-shot captains with enough links in the chain leading up to them.
Im dumping all my future points into Ranged. Max level captains would require like 50+ chains to take half their HP though and realistically, something is going to stop your chain way before you reach there. I managed to get a chain of 40 once and then I hit a captain and didn't even do 15%.
