    I get great results with the same brand 40 grainers out of my 204 ruger. That rifle rides with me everyday of my life in my truck. Knocked out countless coyotes and different types of vermin.

      It's cool , but expensive ....then there's the 223 with a 35gr that will do the same job. A shame ammo costs what it does today, and probably not by accident.

      If you fancy enough for .204 you probably reload making 20 practical a lot more practical or a vartarg maybe.

    Just shot some of this for the first time yesterday through my CZ 527 averaging about .3in groups. And at a dollar a round for .204 knowadays thats not bad at all.

    • @Go69
      @Go69 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not nearly that expensive if/when you reload for it. I've NEVER bought factory ammo for my 204... I started with used, once-fired brass, and bought all the components separately. Now I can load until myself, or the barrel, is worn out.

    You probably already know this but, you'll get tighter groups if you keep your head on the stock when you work the bolt.. repeatability means having the least amount of things that change from one shot to the next, and considering you're on a sled, just imagine what you'd get if you just kept your face on the stock and picked up your brass after... Anyway man love your channel! Who Tee Whooooooo!

    Man, the American is a great gun.
    I've got one in 308 and I've put eld's, 180 fusions, 150 fiocci fmjs, and m80. They've all been with in an inch of each other from my 0.
    The only thing I don't like about them is the mag, mine doesn't feed worth a darn.

    Red box Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics has always been a goto for the clay birds for us. Quality hulls that also reload well and clean burn as compared to any of the other in the cost range. I imagine if they do anywhere near as good with their selections of bull lots in their cartridges they will make the over priced manufacturers take notice.

    204 and .223. my WOA with the .204 32 is about .75 moa and 1.25 moa with the 40s. In several rifles the 40,50,55 gr .223 all between .75 and 1.25 moa depending on the rig. I have improved my marksmanship a lot since i played with .223. i bet i could shave .25 off now.

    So, I watch lots of bullet shows. 9mm bullets fired from plastic pistols always prevail over anything known to man. For rifles it's anything but a 308. Conclusion: If everybody had a 1911 .45ACP and a bolt action .308 Win. there would be no need for conversation. Good show.

    I tried the same ammo in my cz 527 and it shot better than Hornady factory ammo, but the brass is junk. I found several pieces of fiocchi 204 brass that had off-center flash holes, so if you try to reload it you can bend or possibly break decapping pins in your dies, so I trashed the whole lot of brass.
