Met him once in Buffalo when he opened for a national act at the club I played at, he was the nicest guy ever. Invited me back to Cleveland to hang out and get my band to play there. Class act and one of the best guitarist I've ever seen.
How I am I just discovering this 11 years later? Neil is amazing! He was really at the peak of his career here.

They always say a good guitarist makes it look easy... every time i watch Neil Zaza play I keep thinking that I will never in a hundred thousand years be able to play like that T_T
In my opinion he is the best guitar player to ever set feet on earth and he is one of my very favourite composers :)
This song is such an inspiration every time I listen to it I've got play it over again. Tasteful arpeggios and such a great melody. Every note hits home and sings. Zaza is such a great talent.

Virtuoso indeed~! Neil Zaza is the first one I've seen who uses guitar techniques not just for showing off skills but making his music extremely colorful! In my opinion, most solo guitar songs lose its color when i'm listening without visually seeing the person playing the instrument, but I had the same amazing feeling as i was watching this video, just by listening to the sound recording itself. WOW, its beyond amazing! Musical is totally not enough to describe how musical you are!

I am so critical of electric guitar players, especially flash Americans who are all notes and no real music....my big thing is classical guitar, but hell when you watcg this you get everything you could ever want from a musical experience. Its a wonderful composition, superbly played with so much virtuosity and soul and a huy who radiates the joy of playing and music. Im well and truly knocked dead by this guy. Rock on neil Zaza, you really have'it' man!

I am a Carvin guitar enthusiast (I own 4 of them and a 5th is being constructed as of this writing) including a CT-624 and have been playing guitar for 35 years. It was through the Carvin website that I learned of this player and was fascinated by the fact that his signature model was based on my CT-624, so I decided to check him out...
How I missed out of all this wonderful guitar playing I don't quite know - especially since all my YT posts are guitar instrumentals), but it's been a while since a player blew me away with a stunning combo of melody and technique. Big thumbs up for this performance, which I've added to my favorites, also.

This tune is amazing. Really lots of feels and emotion poured into every note. Such a shame I still cannot touch it. Sweep picking is extremely difficult to learn.
