The ones who disliked this video are the ones that've already paid $500 on gold so they could upgrade their Baron Rivendere to legendary status and crush the F2P players in PvP, just like Diablo Immortal. Blizzard taking our beloved IPs and trashing them with insane monetization. And it works, unfortunately. Why make an entirely new and interesting expansion like Starcraft 3 for a set price when you can just make another mobile game for 5% of the effort that makes even more money from players willing to put literal thousands of dollars into it?
the big problem is, that I want to like this game so bad. I am 29 growing up with wotlk and it feels so painful to have blizzard play with childhood emotions like that. you could argue that this is abuse and playing with addictions based on old emotions and their old success with wow

I can't wait til Pay to Win is a thing of the past and some future generation will say "Remember back in.... I think 2020s when people actually could pay money and win at video games? I read it in some history book. I mean, what is the fun in that, you are only winning because you spent money not because of skill"
Yeah, i have their premium, one time cost of 20 usd, i spent the last two day trying to level my army from 8 to 10. Im at level nine. I have a PvE boss that ive had to skip, even though im levels ahead of it. I cant fight off a zerg of AoE tanks before i even get the chance to draw my miner. The minis selection isnt that great, leaving gaps in every faction. Making a one faction deck that covers all your weak spots is impossible. Like how the horde doesn't have unbound units or any flying unit that can target other flyers. The undead dont even have a flying unit other than a single minded tower buster. The alliance is the only one that really covers your needs but their leader abilities arent that great. The only leaders ive found use full are rivendare, bloodhoof and hellscream( if you use cheap beasts.) I have all the troops discovered and dont really see anyway to build a deck with that matches my play style. Ohh well, they got me one last time for $20. Im done with gaming, there not fun any more, they rely more on your anger to keep playing than your enjoyment of the product. I dont know about you guys but im tired of how these corpos trying to manipulate my neurochemistry just to earn a buck.
Well said Bud. My neurochemistry was altered by just seeing the WC Rumble trailer… first it was confusion, then sadness, then rage. 😂 Now I just don’t acknowledge its existence, lol.
Personally I actually like Warcraft Rumble. It’s fun but it’s easy to get stuck if you don’t play the Arclight surges since that’s the best way to get money.
Lost faith in blizzard after their Diablo immortal, and how shifty they handled Diablo 4. They proven their just in it for the money not the Games any more
Good vid. I always eye up Warcraft to harken back to the vanilla to wrath days. Now it feels like its a dead puppet blizz are manipulating to appease us
What about the sigils? Im on 20, and need 21 to play Grommash Hellscream 🤪 (edit: i just replayed the previous mission and got a sigil, still, a bit lacking in clearness ingame regarding it though)
Honestly, I don't think that is fair. I've just played for two days so my perspective very well might change but so far I found the game very f2p friendly. I'm currently on 65 Sigils, lv 21 collection level, which is reasonably far I would say. Currently I'm hardstuck on Plaguelands and will probably need a few days to progress to the next zone. The only thing I bought was the arcane line booster thing, which increases all the things you gain from playing. So that is 20 € - LIFETIME. Not some monthly battle pass, not some 5 day boost. To me that was the one price tag on the game and 20 € for a decent game in the current gaming market? Sign me up any day of the week. Yes, I ran into some issues progressing, because my minis could not keep up in level but honestly I could just keep grinding. And I was able to grind on things that I enjoyed. I could do different things and they all contributed to my progress. I was not forced to do a certain absolutly annoying thing over and over and over or wait 8 hours to continue and log in again tomorrow. I'm not constantly kept waiting and told: "But for an euro, you could just continue right now, sounds good doesn't it? :)" If I compare the grinding aspect so far, to vanilla WoW, it is laughable at best. Grinding an entire day just to be able to join a raid in the evening. In Warcraft Rumble I've grinded for two days and completed probably around 1/5 of the game. Yes it is going to take a long time to upgrade, yes, you will have to repeat missions quite a lot to continue f2p, yes getting your minis from 18 to 20 is gonna take forever, but to me that is an essential part of the game and not "gatekeeping" to get you to pay some money. Doing the dungeons over and over and somehow trying to push just a little further with better upgrade choices was just fun. If I didn't manage to get it done, I still got some mini-levels out of it. It is not: "Oh, you didn't get it - well, time wated, better pay some money to have a chance." or: "Well you did fail this. But how about another buck to get another try?" I honestly was impressed because the monetization so far felt absolutly fair and reasonable, which certainly cannot be said about games like Hearthstone. And ending on "Warcraft Reforged which was alright" - excuse me? There is absolutly no comparison. A 40 € reboot of an old game with a little better grafics but riddled completly gamebreaking bugs, a non-functional PvP-system, tons of promised system and content that where never implemented. That was "alright" and 20€ for a completly functional fun game is Blizzard trying to grab money out of the customers love for the warcraft brand? If you really want to get a game for free and never spend a dime on it, I asume that it is gonna be near impossible to really play Warcraft Rumble. But if you spend 20 € in my opinion you get a great, full, entertaining game, where the progress-speed feels very reasonable. Even World of Warcraft cannot keep up with that price tag, where not only each expansion is far more expensive but you have to pay a monthly fee just to play. As of now there is no battle pass or season pass or smth that allows some players to progress with insane speed compared to normal players. Yes, if you wanna spend 100 k on the game, you probably get a fully loaded account and dominate the ladder for (presumably) 2-3 months. If some people really wanna do that - great! Thank you very much for paying for my game, I don't mind at all and hope you enjoy it😅 PS: Just to be clear. I'm not defending Blizzard. Fuck Blizzard. Eversince Activision took over one of the greatest gaming companies ever was the center of a non-stopping shit show. Reforged, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, Diablo Immortal, WoW (everything between WOTLK and Dragonflight, I do think they did a decent job on Dragonflight, I just don't have the time to truly play WoW anymore), the position towards the CCP - again, fuck Blizzard! I am however defending Warcraft Rumble. So far to me it seems like the - by far - best product Blizzard released in the past 10+ years.
I tried it a. Bit but its obvious low iq time sink p2w mobile garbage. Like why not buy warcraft3 old cd key for 10$ u get endlessly superior game that takes brain and skill, all unlocked on start, u just grind to improve ur skills and strats not for ingame currency its far more fun. Theres also endless custom free maps that are like games in their own right and even far better than most mobile games, free and made by community passion and in almost any zanra since wc3 editer is goat. Also as blizz did fail with reforged the community devs made a proper competitive ladder with many great festures, servers and tourney far better than anything bnet eveeeer had.

Thank you for the video, very interesting. About monetization, I think there will be seasons and paid season passes for them because every game has it and it will give an advantage to speed up the progress without spending money for gold. About PVP: why do you think that you will be matched with someone who has x2 lvl of the cards? You have avg. value for your deck and you will be matched with the person who has ~the same avg. deck value. I don't think that Blizzard game designers are so stupid and the game will match you with players who have much higher levels of decks.
I am not going to deny it is pay2win, but there are no cap to how much exp your units can earn daily from playing. Also it is not hard to get your first talent for each unit with the gold you get every 3 days from arclight. I also think this game is way less pay2win compared to Diablo Immortal, both in terms of free rewards and how much you can whale it. Diablo Immortal needs 100k while Warcraft Rumble you can be very fine with just the 20 usd pack that gives permanent bonus to exp and gold.
I hate mobile games the only ones I play are Rumble and DI and I spend very little to nothing, I go at my own pace. I do agree though they were slightly ruined by the predatory microtransactions with the artificial difficulty that tries to make you pay. Enjoy it so far don't care about PvP or ladders.
Why should i care if you can pay i will not an i also will never see people that are paying because they got more throphies so the p2w mechanic will not affect me so im fine thats in the game
With 1 gran, you can have nearly all your toons to rare and 2-3 to epic. To be honest. 5k-8k is enough to max out an account. It is nowhere as close as predatory than what Diablo Immortal is. Also, in your vid, you rounded down the lvls for Pvp when it is rounded up. It makes it even more difficult to fight against high levels people. You can grind your way to max lvl without spending a dime. A f2p can beat p2w players in this game. Where it will get rough for f2p players is at the end because like what you said, max lvl is 20(23 with gold traits from dungeons), then you have the rarity+talents limitation to bring it to 30 which can only be bought by coins. Overall, good vid. some inaccurate information but mostly accurate.
Tbf i never really played diabli immortal that much so not 100% sure on the comparison There are definitely f2p friendly mechanics in the game though i agree
Ok, tell us how after playing the game for a day, you can beat someone that dumped 1k into the game on their first day. Since f2p can beat p2w. We are waiting.
$5-$8k to max isn't predatory? Are you really that dense? That's inexcusable. Not being as retarded as Diablo Immortal means nothing. That's like saying "well, he only killed one guy. That's nowhere near as bad as Stalin". Microtransactions are microtransactions, it doesn't matter how big or small they are.
I used to play quite a bit of Rise of Kingdoms, I also play clash royale. Now I am completely fine paying 5 euro or so on a mobile game every 1-2 months to slowly grind myself to level to a decent point. This is what I love about Clash Royale, minimal cost but I can fully compete. ROK is just a shameless cluster f*** of p2w. I am willing to be "taxed" by clash royale if I can grind slowly to a point I can compete, as long as it is not the ROK or diablo immortal shameless exploit of people with less discipline on their credit cards...
That attitude is exactly why things like ROK and Diablo Immortal even exist. All microtransactions are garbage, and buying any just perpetuates the issue, and makes you partly responsible for it.
I tried it a Bit but its obvious low iq time sink p2w mobile garbage. The game can be p2w but even f2p people can achieve the same results as p2w, just a lot slower. You can sink money if you dont have the time to grind. Ive seen f2p people reaching 10k honor, so its really how much time you sink into it.
@@nameless_stranger he means pouring time into something that doesn't move your life forward in some way, develop a marketable skill, or earn you money is technically "nothing." You do get enjoyment out of it guess, but after that fades you are left with nothing for your time. Make sense?

It doesn't matter if Diablo Immortal was worse, this is still shit. If you can pay to progress, the game is broken.
game is fun but it needs improvements… not balanced all in PvE
I hate mobile games the only ones I play are Rumble and DI and I spend very little to nothing, I go at my own pace. I do agree though they were slightly ruined by the predatory microtransactions with the artificial difficulty that tries to make you pay. Enjoy it so far don't care about PvP or ladders.
I already quit clash royale and i think clash royale is better than this game
Why is it better?
Tbf i never really played diabli immortal that much so not 100% sure on the comparison
There are definitely f2p friendly mechanics in the game though i agree
Ok, tell us how after playing the game for a day, you can beat someone that dumped 1k into the game on their first day. Since f2p can beat p2w. We are waiting.
@@IncubiAksterHe didn't mention that f2p has to put in 100x the time as p2w to even compete.
And if we wanna max the Account, how much time we need... And have we a goldlimit
This game is actually amazing.
Really? Do you also like the latest ‘Star Wars’ trilogy too?
Oh nice I'm first 👌
I tried it a Bit but its obvious low iq time sink p2w mobile garbage.
Also as blizz did fail with reforged the community devs made a proper competitive ladder with many great festures, servers and tourney far better than anything bnet eveeeer had
Did he just say „wc 3 reforged did alright“ ? Downvoted immediately.
The game can be p2w but even f2p people can achieve the same results as p2w, just a lot slower. You can sink money if you dont have the time to grind. Ive seen f2p people reaching 10k honor, so its really how much time you sink into it.
Who sinks time into nothing? Wtf do you get for wasting your time…..nothing . The same thing you get for spending your money ….nothing.
@@kickassclone75 With that logic, doing anything in life means nothing
@@nameless_stranger he means pouring time into something that doesn't move your life forward in some way, develop a marketable skill, or earn you money is technically "nothing." You do get enjoyment out of it guess, but after that fades you are left with nothing for your time. Make sense?
@@kickassclone75exactly total waste
@@nameless_strangerWell thats boIIocks isn’t it man. He’s saying wasting time on this ‘nothing’ game that is made by a sell out company, that used to be the best. 👍🏼
I have to say i first saw the game and tought Fake game Play Video cause Its just a copy trash Paste from Clash royal and than IT was real 😂 i am very impressed by the game now cause Its Like Even More trash than the diablo 4 seasons and over watch how They Can reduce that bar Even More every Release thats crazy how They Can Even to that
One thing that i love about blizzard is that they makes great fun games for everyone that all matters
This has to be a joke.
