With the weather warming and the easing of current restrictions imminent (we hope!), it is time to get the gear sorted for the season ahead. Alfie talks you through how he approaches his big tackle sort for the year, as well as taking us on a mid-winter session where he catches, let's say, a real character of a carp! 😅
Throughout the video, Alfie show's us his various tips and tricks on how to stay organised when out on the bank. The main aim of this is to maximise your fishing time and ultimately put more carp on the bank!

I have greased me bushwhacker and dusted down me triggalink..done.
ocd is not needed but be on top of the primals dont forget just as i your simple water boiling pan or some times the herrings to nail my bivvi its always an good pre look for an few hours isnt an problem but i do week sessions so its no fun with out warm water for foods and drinks

Anyone ever tried using hot/ warm bait during the older weather...? 🤔 I.e keeping your Spod mix/ bait warm by keeping the bucket on top of a hot water bottle for the duration of the session..? Maybe the warm bait could help trigger a feeding response...? Just thought, what’s everyone think..?
lol waste of gas and hot water bottle heat. just pour the hot water into the bait?? not gonna do owt once in the lake. cook some sausages and then throw them in water and see if there still hot after 2mins

I Still don't get why people put new line on your reel I've had the same line on my reel now for 2 years and there's nothing wrong with it.....unless it's jist people with ocd lol
its called selling...make people unsure about something, put that thought in their head and people will spend £20.
if 10% of say 80,000 anglers changed there line every spring that would make £160,000. nash will see a chunk of that if they have a popular mainline.
alot of people now do the wrap stick trick when reloading.. only putting on 50 or so wraps after stripping 50 or so wraps therefore only puttin 200yards or so on instead of 400
Know anywhere what donates fishing stuff or cheap as chips really money is a struggle with this covid got a 14 year old son who wants to start carp fishing we are in huyton liverpool thanks
You don't need expensive gear tbh Nash is very expensive all you need is a rod, reel, line, rig, and bait.
ngt is similar to donated gear
Check out carpers_essentials its a small brand but has loads of cheap but amazing terminal tackle and hookbaits
