- Belisarius Cawl is a ten-thousand-standard-years-old archmagos dominus of the Adeptus Mechanicus, one of the ruling lords of the Priesthood of Mars. He played a pivotal role in the events of the 13th Black Crusade, the Celestinian Crusade and the Terran Crusade, and shared responsibility with the Ynnari for the resurrection of Primarch Roboute Guilliman as the lord commander of the Imperium and Imperial Regent, and creating the Primaris Space Marines in the Warhammer 40k setting.

Cawl also has an AI of Bobby G that yells at him every time he turns it on cause it knows it's an AI and shouldn't exist, and I just find that hilarious.

My favorite part about the AI is that it's behind like all the security. It's only accessible through a 40 story elevator in Gilman's private Chambers. You have to go through like 40 genetic locks just to get to the double security room where there's a dude who's only job is to be the second person with the passcode lives. He has his own password that changes on the date Gilman has his own password that changes on the date. If they're both silent from each other so they can't hear what the others password it is Gilman tried to read his lips once and got flashbang for his troubles. Then there's more security and more genetic locks. Like imagine every single Vault from every single Mission Impossible movie stacked on top of each other and all of the lethal returns you can imagine and that's where the call inferior resides

lots of people were. however given that chapters can make their own primaris if they want it mitigates the risk.
Im glad Guilliman is thinking about GW's profit margins and made Cawl make primaris marines so everyone would have to rebuy their SM armies ❤ so thoughtful.

And he even signed up with a C'tan temporarily. But the Emperor had reassured Cawl, via Sedayne, that Cawl/Sedayne would betray the Imperium but it would be for the right reasons and only superficially.

Unlike the space marines, the Mechanicus sects that sided with Horus didn't all go straight to getting plowed by demons as their new hobby, so he probably didn't actually join Chaos.

For one side, there are those who are so afraid of the possibility of allowing any opening for chaos to corrupt them that they have made a spiderweb of intricate and mostly absurd rules in order to prevent it.
And for the other, there is Belisarius Cawl, who tasted a bit of both, went like "meh", decided that chaos wasn't for him and tossed it away like an old rag.

Yeah the primaris helped save the imperium from annihilation but at this point theyre giving chaos primaris bodies to reverse engineer, and the tyranids primaris bodies to consume and adapt from. Its a neck and neck arms race that essentially was just to buy time.

And those Primaris were dropping like flies to a scented trap. Primaris were trained in simulations and lacked combat and survival instincts. They start in the 10th company as devestators to watch and learn, assault if they're Blood Angels to temper their bloodlust.

Question from someone color blind. What color is old Mr Crawls hood and robes? I have just finished painting the model with a friend’s help with the color matching. He is telling me the trim is green, and I see gold. Is it green? I really think he is messing with me and trying to joke. I think the hood and robes are his basic robes, because there is no trim print on them.
