- Going on for 50 years now. Palos Verdes Surf Gang called the Lunada "Bay Boys" have attacked "Outsiders". The same "Outsiders" most have made their money from. Its prime bully season in Palos Verdes. guess they havent heard that bullying is not wise these day? the local community and Police have enabled this by allowing the criminal behavior to go unchecked. Public drinking is not enforced except against outsiders. in fact "Outsiders" better not break any petty traffic laws in Palos Verdes. Oh outsiders is everyone not of their choosing except when they want to sell you something from their south bay interests. this is Los Angeles Channel 13 News footage from 1995.

The guy getting yelled at in this video by PVE Lunada Bay local Bay Boy Peter McCollum is a Viet Nam 101 Airborne Ranger Army veteran. Who was watching his kid surf. Mike Bernard Sr. is the Army Vet fought in a real war where people were killed daily. So he comes home after fighting for his country and has some Rich Trust Fund Bully in his face for "Surfing his SPOT". No Veteran should ever have to endure this. Our Country is free because of Veterans. This guy could have easily defended himself against some PVE idiot right in his face waving his arms in the air but he chose to be a decent human being. This is not about surfing this is about civil rights at a public beach.Lunada Bay boys talk tough when they have 10 to 1 odds. Lets give them a rifle and throw them in a jungle war and prove just how tough they really are.

If they're an asshole then teach them some respect. I actually find that locals even at my own local breaks are bigger jerks than the "outsiders" are

all over a place that breaks maybe 6 times out of year. Shit., San county is 10 times better without the hastle

I get the bra boys. that place is going to be packed and full of trash. im not from palos verdes, im from this shitty place called Huntington beach and we also have a little localism here in hb. why? I don't know why! most of the time the waves suck. anyways, it really sucks for the bay boys. that beach is going to shit with outsiders doing graffiti and leaving their trash. at least the bay boys kept it clean and everything in line. the media really fucked it all up. if I were the by boys, I would keep fighting.
