9:38 love that “halloween red”
There's a stationary/art shop here in the UK called Cult Pens, and they do advent calendars. One is based on Japanese stationery, with another based on stationery from around the world. I think it would be really interesting to see you review one of them (they ship internationally)
Oh god. The japanese one has been calling me for weeks....it looks so beautiful.
@@tanwencooper6928 I really like the look of the Around the World one. Unfortunately I am poor 😂 so would love to live vicariously through Chloe opening one of them
I saw those! Unfortunately I’m more of a fountain pen person rather than general stationery - or rather - I LOVE all stationery but hardly use anything at all these days, so I’ve banned myself from buying non-fountain pen stuff as much as possible… So I decided those were not for me.
@@TheMessyDeskxyz very sensible! Have you seen their inks calendar? I'm not sure if the ink is for fountain pens though
@@Cerydwyn87 Are you referring to the Diamine Inkvent calendar? Yes those are fountain pen inks. I am still debating whether to buy that or not… I bought for the past two years and have not really used them… I have wayyyy too many inks to use in my lifetime. Will still probably end up buying though… >
I think it would be a good idea for Arteza to put together multiple advent calendars to choose from with different art themes so you can get art supplies you know you'll use.
Great idea!
REEEEEEEEEEEMMMMEEEEEEMMMMMMBBBBBBBEEEEERRRRR MMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE
What I liked in this video:
My favorite part of this video was when Chloe came across the silica backet and was so excited for and was like “these are good”. And I also like how excited she was for the advent calendar and advent calendars seem really fun I would definitely like to open some. It was also so cool the the pine green paint was the exact same color as the shirt she was wearing! I would love to get your doodles as stickers and every piece you made in the video looked amazing! Your videos are very entertaining and fun to watch and I look forward to them every Thursday!
It feels like I have just watched the calendar unpacking from last year. But it’s already been a year! Time flies. Love your videos!
Same it’s crazy
Yup
Ikr! It’s already November..time flies SO much. 💕
IKK, 2022 ends in 2 months like, what happened to the past 2-3 years
What I liked about this video:
Is that the calendar gave options. Which is nice for when someone may like a certain kind of thing but are allowed to try new things to see if they like it without a huge commitment. I like watercolors but I’ve never done a paint pour. Having the variety allows for experimenting while also having the chance for things you already know you would use.
What I like most about this video…
I love seeing what is in the advent calendar so I can decide if I want this one or not. I love Christmas time!
I love the getting supplies that don’t just lead up to one project I feel like I could use these mixed in with my other art supplies
Me too I just wish the colors were more varied..there were kinda a lot of repeats, a gold pen, water color and paint pen, a silver pen, watercolor and paint, a blue paint pour and water color and two of the brushes were kinda the same size even though one is angled and another is flat idk if that really makes them all that different...
Agreed. I feel by the time I get all the supplies I have no more energy left for the season.
Pour Art Tip: Mix the pouring medium with a paint color and some water (1 part of each). For bigger pieces, coat the canvas in a background color (most people start with black or white, but anything goes!), then pour your colors on top and tilt like you did on the small canvases. I would love to see you try this technique on larger pieces or different objects. I've done vases, jars, pieces of wood and boxes with this technique.
I really like that it’s like us opening this calendar with you.
My favorite thing about your videos is always the slightly fly by the seat of your pants feeling you exude - you make me feel so much better about my own similar approach to life, thank you! ❤I also really appreciate not only seeing what was in the advent calendar, but what you were able to actually make with it. I feel like for me personally, $80 would be too much for something like that. It's the kind of thing I'd enjoy as a gift but wouldn't buy. That said, I like the fact that you can make more than one project with it; I would definitely prefer several smaller projects over one big time-consuming one.
I like how it’s mixed. This way people can try out new art supplies that they may typically not use
what I like most about this video is the fact that the Avent calendar is giving you things to do many projects. I'm that kind of person. I'd much rather have multiple mediums than one cohesive project kit.
I really like being able to see the contents of these calendars and having somebody who can hold them in person giving their opinion - it helps a lot in figuring out if they're a good present
The Thing I love the most about the video
1. That it's all opened at once so that you dont have to wait 24 days to find out what every thing is
2. That you basicly have a warning about the eco because if you didn't it would be annoying
3. That your gorgeous
Happy Holidays🎄
What I liked about today's video:
I love your excitement, and the buzz you were getting from opening all the doors on the calender in one day. You were as happy as a kid in a candy store. Also I really liked how you arranged opening the calendar before December, just so we could get one ourselves, that was very thoughtful of you Chloe, thank you for that.
I love your videos Chloe. Honestly, they brighten my day and make me smile. Thank you for that too. The paint pouring on those mini canvases came out well, and I think the glitter was nice on both the pudding and the little tree but not on the triangle canvas, that turned out looking a little rough lol. It was pretty glitter though to be fair.
Is it just me or does the bottom of the plum pudding have a shimmer to it? I think it's adorable. I love the marbling effect of the paint pouring. The first time I did paint pouring I made a solid color of mud. Needless to say it's not hanging up anywhere. Thanks for sharing this Advent calendar and I appreciate the fun of play with which you approach the projects. Blessings.
What i loved about this video -
1) A CHRISTMAS VIDEO IN OCTOBER!!!!🎄✨
2)I loveeee advent calenders , and this time they had put more media's like the acrylic pad , canvases as compared to last year's
3) there was a lot of variety , they didnt stick to just one medium , they included acrylics , watercolors , gel pens 😍
4) i love when u make art not just using acrylics but u use different mediums too!
5) the paintings turned out very cute 😍 and the pouring painting was relaxing
Chloe , dont feel like u have to be professional , i love when u just enjoy yourself ☺
True!!
The things that I like about this video:
1. I loved how you kept breaking that carboard doors! It was really funny🤣🤣
2. I liked that the perpouse of the video was to show if it was worth your money
3. I loved that you could not find the doors!
You have great art, and are super talented! Have a great day!
A tip for pour painting: If your gonna pour paint you need to put the cup in a angle and put either white, black or grey in between each colour so the paint doesn’t mix.
The hexagonal canvas would be good for drawing a snowflake over your poured background. White, blue and silver are nice snowy colors.
All in one project, paint pouring background acrylic paint design, markers for details gel pens and watercolour for hing lights
What I liked about this video:
The fact that she started messing around and realised that she was filming
Also the ripping of the doors is quite relatable with me so no problem
what I liked about the video is the enthusiasm in the minute the calendar was opened.😊 it made me smile too.
And the waist pains part 😂🤣
I am a beginner when it comes to paint and art in general. I would be so happy with this calendar. My creativity got a massive boost only from watching this video
Favorite part of the video:
Christmas pudding painting. SO CUTE.
Also, I love that there is a variation of supplies! I have a lot of art stuff already so it is cool to get stuff I might not already have.
My favorite thing about this video is the anticipation of what each day holds!
I’m not really an artist, I like trying things out so I can see this box being cool for myself and doing mini projects. And the diversity of products means more people would be happy if they don’t know what is inside!
What I liked about this video:
You had soo many fun comments (as always) and I think it's fun how you get easily entertained by the different supplies 😁
I like how this calendar has a good variety of supplies that you can still use together in different ways. I liked about the video that you included how you used these, and it wasn’t only an unboxing video ❤
what i love about this video and every video you make is the fact i cant watch you use supplies i can never get where i live so im really living my dreams through you
I love that it's mixed, gives an option to try something you may not thought of before. And maybe a way of mixing things up.
This is definitely on my christmas list x
Favorite part of this video is the fact you are opening these boxes in advance this go around thank you so much for thinking about us not being able to get our hands on them once we seen your videos. I love that you're even thinking about that!!💜🎨
I like how you not only unboxed it, but did a few projects with the supplies at the end
What I love about this video and every other video of yours is.....
You're real, you have problems, you're not perfect..... Cuz nobody is everybody has problems and I love that you show some of the little flaws that you sometimes have like everybody else. Sometimes content creators come off as too perfect I like the real stuff so thank you for the real stuff love your videos, keep them up ☺️🤗
-10/10 thing about this video-
+Chloe’s raw honesty, so refreshing
+your honest opinion about the product
+using the product how a beginner/first time artist would use it (Only supplies given)
+perfectly timed sponsorship 😂
+the willingness to ruin art for content
+and never actually ruining your amazing art
+realistic reasons for why someone should use a vpn, never thought about using it while traveling before
--Last But Not Least--
Ripping each door proudly.
What I love about this video: The fact that you show your raw mistakes, and how to shrug it off and keep going, and getting distracted, it's so natural, even when you realized you were making a video and it must look professional, you're still human. Your videos make me feel like I don't need to be perfect in order to make art.
I love this about her too😭
I like that there’s a mix of project items in the calendar. Gives people more of a choice of what they make.
I love that you are showing the calendars this early so we can buy if we want. I love the wee pudding! Tis' adorable and would make a fantabulous sticker!
I love how you unboxed/opened the advent calendar early so we have a chance to order from Arteza before they sell out. I also love how there is a variety of things in the calender...opportunities to try new avenues of art. I also love how you try to create something with whatever you get.
thanks!! I picked your comment for the brushes this week :) They will be sent to you if you can please email me at orders@artisticbearco.com we'll get it sorted. Thank you!
@@ChloeRoseArt Thank you so much!!
You need Floertol for the acrylic pouring. It makes the pretty cells that you sell. You just mix about 20% Floertol to 80% paint and that's how you make the beautiful pouring paintings you've seen.
What I like about the video:
I loved how you were so excited to open something traditionally Christmassy super early so we would be able to get to it before they went out of stock^^ I find that incredibly sweet! I really loved the image of the box, it's super pretty and inspired me to doodle a little winter scene. Also, I am also a silica hoarder (I've dropped my phone in water so much that I keep it on hand lol) Hope you're doing well!!!
I actually enjoy it when boxes like this are a little random it makes you use a little more imagination!
What I like about this video - the review is long before Christmas so those of us who can’t drop that money have time to save up
I also love how you own up to being clumsy because I’m super clumsy and feel like my lack of coordination will prevent me from making art but seeing your art makes me feel like I can get there 💜 love your videos!
What I like about this video:
You make advent calenders look worth the money! I'm not too into Christmas, but these arteza calenders look so fun and arent christmas themed. I love that you show us the contents so early. Also, the relatable and honest commentary is perfect!
things i liked about this video:
first, I love how im not the only who gets paint all over my carpet.
second, I love how this is a christmas video in october. (love christmas way too much than normal)
third, i love how Chloe called it "Halloween red" instead of "christmas red" because its a holiday calendar. I absolutely love all of your videos Chloe and thank you for bringing me joy to my day.😊
I love this advent calendar! My favorite thing is they included multiple paintbrushes and multiple projects. I want to be able to use my art supplies for more than one thing. Your Christmas pudding is so cute!! Love it!
What I loved about this video was that you were very honest about the calendar. I like that it has lots of variety so I can do more than one project and that I can experiment with different mediums .
I love that you do these advent calendar videos, because sometimes you don't want to buy it if you're not sure what's in it. ❤🎄
Since this advent calendar is made for artist, I think the blend of products it’s what makes it nice. Like you open one each day and use the art supply as an inspiration to create something with what you already have. At least that’s how I’d use it 😂.
And one of the things I liked about the video is the little pudding painting. It turned out really cute ❤
I do like how it seems themed towards making little ornaments, that's very sweet/fun. Those canvases would make cute little ornaments on a tree! I do like the variety of mediums, but I think gouache would have been more fitting than pouring acrylic imo.
I like it not all being for one project! I horde art supplies. I love and enjoy all mediums!
I love that I am living vicariously through you for this one! Struggling with the doors is very relatable though. That's why when I opened my last advent calendar I would lightly (and carefully) run over the perforations with a craft knife to make life easier.
I think it is nice that it gives you multiple projects though. I tend to lose focus if I don't have the ability to work on a project whenever I am able to.
I love the videos as you approach each challenge not as some high-falluting expert but as a child opening an empty box at Christmas with an imagination that's the size of the world. Your enthusiasm is enchanting and sense of manic fun is engaging, whether you are an artist of many years, a beginner or a passing observer.
I have to say its kind of nice seeing artist play around with art supplies and just have fun with it. Even if it doesn't look great in the end. At least you had fun doing it.
I really love that you’re honest about what’s in these and really don’t hold back if you don’t like something
I like how you show the reality when opening these boxes. It’s very relatable to me when I’m trying to open an advent calendar.
What I like about this video is that I learned about some British things like Christmas pudding that we don’t eat in the US. Also Chloe is hilarious and lifted my spirit while I was home sick.
What i loved about the box was the pens with paint inside. They look so beautiful and easy to use.
I like that there is a variety..it could be a good jumping off kit for someone who would like a variety of supplies to play with and see what they might enjoy 😊but the price…does feel a little high for what you get.
Man I love advent/holiday calendars! Woooo! ❤🎉
I love these Advent videos. It gives me a lot of ideas for gift giving.
I love how they make it so interactive. They give you the supplies and prompts. Its so cool.
I love watching your videos because you try out products first and I can find out how good the quality is... I love that they included the paint pad this time around!!
What I loved most was…….the monster holly leaves on that super cute Christmas pudding! They were more like antlers but being Chloe rose it looked amazing. I could never justify £80 on an advent calendar, so watching you do it was great.❤️
What I loved about this video! :
I love art and Christmas and I’ve been watching people open advent calendars for years and I’ve never seen an art one! I love how funny and enjoyable your videos are as well as relatable. This video shows that even with limited supplies you can make amazing art! Thank you for getting me into my early Christmas spirit! ❤️❤️
Either 2-3 themed to one media advent calenders like guash water color acrylic oil pencils etc...
Or a mix of mediums with two-four intended projects.
I like the variation. It means I'm not tied down to one project, and I can use the supplies in combination with things I already own more easily.
What I loved about this video:
It was such an honest review! You highlighted the pros and cons, and also what they could improve on - I'd imagine they took some of your comments from last year into account too, to make this year's better.
Thanks for the great video Chloe!
Acrylic pour white and blue background and then pant on top using either acrylic paint or markers, and even gel pens for effect. And watercolor is more for small cards.
I love what you make.
Can’t believe it’s nearly time to open advent calendars again. It was good to see what art supplies are in this calendar, I liked the fact that there was lots of different projects in it. I enjoy watching your videos, seeing what projects you do. I live in the UK and enjoyed watching your recent videos shopping for crafts here in our craft shops.
what i liked about the video: love that your sweater was inside out and you didn't care lol. i think i like the mixed media but id want enough to do a full project with even if its a small project or three. the shaped canvases are so cool as well. as for the price no i wouldn't pay $80 for this maybe $15 cause the supplies separate is way cheaper.
What I loved about this video was how helpful Chloe is for things even like calendars because every year I try to get an interesting calendar but by the time I remember it's too late
I like the variety, but it's way too expensive. I think it'd be fun to recreate with cheaper supplies bought loose at a hobby shop or dollar store
Totally agree, you could make a few for the price of this calender.
That’d be fun, could even make your own advent calendar like I did with my sister as kids 😛 can be made out of anything depending on your budget; paper, card, boxes, little bags or whatever 😛
The packaging would be more expensive than anything in this case.
As you get supplies during the year. Wrap them and tag with a number. By the time December rolls around you can open them again and remember what you already had
I love that they included multiple options for different projects! Also the pouring turned out so good, the process may be really messy but I think it’s always worth the results
You should get an outdoor mat/rug that you can just hose down whenever it gets dirty and it can still provide some sound absorption.
I'm so glad you're doing another art adventure calendar. It's so nice that they took the viewers into consideration for those who want one.
The paint pour can be the background and all the other products can be used to create an image so much you can do with all that was given love the idea behind it all
I haven't painted in over 3 years bc of moving and working and having a small farm and I miss it so much 😢I will live vicariously through the artist TH-camrs !
I have been watching you videos for 7 years and I am Seprised you are still uploading videos. It is amazing that you videos ceep getting better when other channels sometimes start to get repetitive. Thank you for you videos and you are such an inspiration ceep uploading bye.
Girl, that white and grey - with glitter was stunning. You inspired me to make this on letters spelling my kid's name. Thank you!
I really like that you tested the supplies as well as viewed them. That was a nice surprise as (in my experience) that's usually not the case in these kinds of videos. Personally, I much prefer for there to be materials for more than one project, considering it's a calendar, and you'd have only a few supplies at a time, to enjoy. Plus, the wider range means that if you dislike one of the mediums, you won't automatically dislike the whole calendar.
I agree that this seems even better than last year's calendar 😍 I think it's good that there's different projects, I'd probably be a bit annoyed if it was just one.
You can still use the watercolours on the wood- I've used shiny watercolours for the background on wood slices and they worked really well, then you have all of the acrylics for details.
The wee puddin is mega cute!!
That’s an amazing advent calendar. I Love Glitter, if you sprinkle over printer paper you can put the clean glitter back in the bottle to reuse. 🥰 you paint pour canvases look amazing.
Last year I thought I'd really enjoy an advent calendar myself - so happy that you've done this one so early, it looks great!
I love how she’s doing this video early so that we can buy it with out it being sold out!!! A great person and TH-camr always things of other and there audience ❤
I feel like all advent calendars are a way to spark creativity in many ways. And no one does it better than Chloe, Ultra entertaining😃
First off, helping us out with a coupon for this advent calendar is awesome. The second discount for surfshark is great too. I love that the calendar has different activities because it gives beginners an opportunity to experiment with various mediums throughout the opening experience. That's pretty cool. I have a baby nephew and I would totally make his first ornament with this, so cute
I love that you showed us everything that’s in the calendar, $80 usd is a lot for someone who lives in Australia but I’d love to get this kit, you showing me whether it’s worth it and what I can do with the projects is exactly what I need!
Your Christmas pudding was the cutest 🥰
What did I love about the video - ‘tib’ a new Chloe Rose word for nib and tip. Made me 😀.
I like that they have variation in the products given. Does it mean you don't have one cohesive project at the end, maybe (depends on what you get, and what you can figure out what to do with it), but honestly, I think it's more about seeing what they have available, and letting you test them out. It gives you a taste and feel for the product.
For the 12 days one if you get it, you should do one a day, using the item given. That way we can get some idea(s) to use/do.
Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
You can also use the acrylic colors with the pouring Fluid. Its nice.
I love that your doing these videos again! I like that it’s mixed products because it suits an advent calendar vibe. If it was products for one project I would prefer to buy a craft box, looking forward to the next advent calendar videos!
What I loved about this video
I love when you make projects at the end of the video with the supplies you received in the calendar. I especially love your acrylic pours and the tree ornament you made. I think it's cool that the calendar has a variety of supplies and I think it would be awesome if they had different versions of the calendar in case someone wanted a certain type of item. For example an acrylic pour advent calendar. I can't wait to see what other videos you make. I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a wonderful day.
I love the marbled Trussville with the glitter 🪩
I don't mind the different types of supplies, they fit in right with mine!
From my limited paint pour experience, you can mix up your own mixing medium (glue & water) and add acrylic paint to it which would give you slightly more options to use from just this calendar. Our you could paint a design over the paint pour once it's dried!
What I liked about this video is the realness of the spider find, you could've had it edited out, and the breaking of those darn cardboard boxes like a real human being!
I like this video because you showed us the advent calendar early so we could see whether we want it! This is so cool!
I like that the supplies are mixed - it would help me experiment with supplies I might not have bought for myself.
What I love about this video:
I've always been so fascinated by advent calendars!! I really want to have an advent calendar one year, but I never have the money to get a good one. So, I'm kind of living vicariously through your video, Lol. And hey, it could give me an idea of what advent calendar to buy if I ever do have the money!! Of course, as always, I love your art! I think they turned out really cute.
I actually have some of those wood circles for ornaments I bought from Amazon, but I have the hardest time tying the string. If anyone has any advice for how to tie it into an ornament loop, let me know!!
When we clicked on this video, we were still thinking about ghosts and goblins, but now we're in full holiday mode! It's the perfect time to make some handmade decorations and cards!
