As an Edin-burgher it's strange seeing so many places that've featured so much in my life but are now 'must see' places for visiting tourists - Arthur's Seat being one of them !. I was brought up in St.Leonard's Lane so the park was our playground - sadly due to poor health I can't get up to the top any more so seeing it here is lovely, it brings back so many happy memories so thank you for uploading this !
Well, as someone who loves Edinburgh - I will be back there soon - and who watches EVERY video, I must say that this is one of the best. There are too many of just the Old Town and visits to the castle, but you stepped out of that box by not only going down to the beach but also exploring it. And North Berwick, just a short train or bus ride along the coast is a fantastic wee town. Your choice of music was great, with the heavy rock riffing so much fun for the playground scenes. The music-to-video editing was also excellent, with great timing. Wow! Of course there are many areas of the city you didn't show and some we seldom or never see in other videos. But that doesn't detract from yours, which confirms Edinburgh is a fantastic place with SO MUCH to explore and enjoy. Hopefully you will return. Within 15 minutes' walk either side of the Royal Mile new worlds start to reveal themselves. The Meadows, just two minutes' walk further along from Greyfriars Kirkyard and the gravestones that inspired JK Rowling (she lives on the edge of the city) is the gateway to Marchmont, the Grange, Bruntsfield and other neighbourhoods of fabulous residential streets (nice shops and eats in Bruntsfield), while 20 minutes the other side of the Old Town puts you in village of Stockbridge, Dean Village, the Water of Leith etc. That area is a holiday unto itself. As they say, Haste ye back. Thank you for such an enjoyable view of the city I love.
I will never get the appeal for Americans coming to my homeland in the middle of winter,it bad enough living in it without paying thousands to be cold and miserable
