    This video is well done and informative, (without having to look at the videographer's face). The subject of the video is what we all want to see. It shows the many spots we all want to see, the restaurants, the scenery, where to shop and the highlights. Well done!

    it’s a nice walk to take the Riverwalk north to the Pearl District. You pass other restaurants bars and the SA museum of art

      It's not. Unfortunately, you have to pass through the rest of the city to get to the river, and it's disgusting and dangerous for white people.

      @@augustajeter6035 you don't know what you're talking about .. San Antonio is an international city and if you're not an international kind of person then reconsider visiting .. stay with travelling to old traditional cities and towns .. Texas is not like any other state in the USA .. Texans believe in family football guns and God .. "Don't Mess With Texas"

    Nice documentation. It is wonderful to see the Riverwalk when it isn't packed shoulder to shoulder with people. That describes last Friday night, when my friends came to town. BTW, the German restaurant's name is pronounced "SHEE-lows" not "SHY-lows."

    Beware:When you checkout of your hotel there is an added 17 percent hotel tax which is the highest in the state and among the highest in the nation. The tourists are gone now because of the flu and the violent riots that occured. So you will see few locals because of fear. Finally The Alamo is surrounded by a riot fence and concrete barriers.

    • @CampTravelExplore
      @CampTravelExplore  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crazy times we are in John! Yeah the Florida Hotel taxes are high as well, around 14%. I hope it gets back to normal soon, such a beautiful area! They were doing some renovations to the Alamo in Jan. so hopefully they get those finished during this slow down! Thanks for watching and your comments!

    Beware: San Antonio has a whopping 17 percent hotel room tax and this year the Riverwalk is dead because of no tourists due to daily riots and other protests and notice all the covered up destroyed windows of businesses.It used to be nice and safe but not anymore and the Alamo is surrounded by a high fence and barricades out of defacing the shrine.
