There are many reasons why it won those Golden Tickets, the park it sits in, the smoothness, easy to marathon, buzz bars, outstanding operations (dispatching), Always operating (at least for the 37 years I've been going there, 37 years of outstanding improving maintenance. Thats why Twister keeps getting better every year. I highly doubt you'll ever see a coaster that's 75 years old that will win the Golden Ticket. Oops I forgot that it also has great floater & ejector airtime. Great quality video for a Great Classic Coaster . ☝💪

I rode them both in a cold rain, but personally I got a zen ride on Phoenix and the ride had me laughing manically so I had to place it higher in my rankings, however it doesn't seem strange to me that you like Twister more- it has a much more unique layout and also gives a glass smooth ride. I guess it just depends on if you value laterals or airtime more, cuz they both excel at what they were built for! Hope your 2022 has been sick bro! 👍🤘

The pacing on this ride surpasses perfection. Maybe the purest expression of what roller coasters can be.

Twister looks so underrated, it’s crazy it doesn’t get as much talked about as Phoenix.
More sustained airtime. Phoenix has more airtime but Twister has longer airtime
