Awesome diorama, a good variety of allied vehicles and the detail is really good 👍 Ignore criticism unless its constructive or helpful to improve your skills, i acquired some helpful painting tips from the warhammer community to enhance a model that lil bit more.
Love the level of detail you included in this diorama. You are one of the few I have found modeling in 1:72 Scale. So much of the stuff out there is in 1:35 scale. I prefer smaller scale just because of available space. GREAT JOB!!!
Glad you like it. I plan on taking a lot of it apart and making a series of smaller scenes. It has lost its novelty at this point. I can do more making smaller dioramas..Cheers
Built many a diorama and I'm loving the vegitation on yours. Very realistic as is everything else. You said "That's the thing when doing Dioramas hard to know when to stop " yeah you got it.
I too like 1/72 Building armies and terrain to play Bolt Action and Chain of Command in 1/72. Unbelievable what we can do now with 3d printers. Great job!
Brilliant just cool as ,I love the level of detail I used to make similar dioramas when a kid and having no money I would cut off guns from rubbish soldiers to drop random on the dioramas lots of things like that just for more detail and it makes a big difference no battlefield is clean
November 8th 2020.... EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT... so much too look at... very impressive...when I was in the ARMY...I experienced the same thing...only it was 1990...in SAUDI ARABIA...YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF...I LIKE 1/72 also... little 10” by 10” dioramas mostly AIRFIX... HASAGAWA....MATCHBOX or whatever I can find in that scale... I give you 🥇🏆🥇🏆
Yeah...I`ve been getting back into modeling lately and making a few things. Just wish I had a bit more time. Stay tuned for more cool uploads. I`ve got a ton of stuff to show. Cheers
Yes.. I thought about building one with German troops at the time. I don`t think I will be building another one any time soon though or ever again. Fun to build. Took a long time...Glad you like it. Cheers
I love this diorama. The amount that is going on in it is incredible, and attention to detail. This has inspired me to continue my 1.72 diorama builds. Can i ask please, can you remember where you purchased the individual rifles and machine guns from ? It would be great to see do a German or British dio like this one. Keep up the good work.
Hi, Thanks for your interest. I used a number of figures and details from different kits. Preiser,Airfix and others. All of my 1/72 scale is stored away now until one day. I might revisit the diorama and ad more rubble detail and such seeing as how it has gained alot of interest. It`s currently still a little too clean looking. Needs more damage. Glad you`re inspired. keep it up
Not a big fan at all of those pine trees. They look like they're made out of those cheap plastic christmas trees. i think some train set pines would look much better on this piece!
@@jeeperscreatures yes I do know what it takes. Been doing it for 40 years. The layout is great, but why does everyone make WWII look black and white? They actually had more vibrant colors in the 30-40's than we do today. As for all the olive drab, we learned real quick about camouflage. Back to the colors, buildings in Europe weren't so dark. And trees, and bushes are more than two shades of green. One of my biggest problems.
My goodness! The detail!!!😮😮😮
One of the most precise 1/72 diorama i ever seen. WOW
Hi...Thanks very much...glad you like it...I could have done alot more to it but I moved on to other things...It was super fun to put together

Hey..Thanks Tim....Space played a big part in my decision to build this diorama. Plus the kits are inexpensive and easy to build fo the most part.

Thanks man..glad you enjoy it...I could do alot more to it but I moved on a long time ago.
It gets the Blue Ribbon from me! Great work, love it, thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Cheers!
1:72 is the most difficult scale as far as conveying realism in a military diorama and making it look right. I'd say you got it right. Good job.
Thank alot. I`m glad you like it. I could have done even more with it but I moved on to other models. heers
Amazing😊
Thanks!

You might be nit picking...I use the colors that I have on hand. I was not super focused on color variance. but I get what you are saying

Airfix waterloo "La Haye Saint" farmhouse, 1975.
Cracking diorama, next one do the opposite, similar unit but german troops and equipment!

Nice layout. But I prefer the 1/35 scale. I just like the bigger scale. It's a preference. Nice looking tho. Gives me ideas for my scale models .
You need to be really good at painting when you work in 1:35 though. takes up more space too.
looks great you did a great job .
Hey..Thanks...Glad you liked it.
Great job....👏🙌
That’s what me and my dad do we have almost every battle in wwii
would love to see more close up footage too!
will do. cheers
Gorgeous!!!

Big brain
Helicopters when the present in the second world war
Awesome
Awesome stuff. Subbed. You might want to see my 1/72 stuff too.
M16s?
This is WW2 right?
If yes, then M1 Garands or Kar 98s
Nice. But the detail could be much better.
Agreed....It`s a little too clean looking...Perhaps one day I`ll put down more rubble and such.

You are probly right. If you would to send me something more suitable, that would be nice. Thanks for your constructive comment.
Colors are way too bland and dull. Everything in WWII wasn't the same color.
do even realize what it took to get it to this level ? Sure I could have done more but it is what it is.
