I love Tom jones, saw him a few weeks ago and he’s still got it. He sang some of his new stuff ‘I’m growing old’ made me cry, along with crumble and the green green grass, but boy was I up and dancing for some of the old classics. His last performance during the encore was a tribute and he sang Jonny B Good. The people we’re twirling and dancing. My daughter took me as it was a late present for my 60th, a memory I shall treasure until the die it’s my time to go and cross ‘The Borderline’ another tribute ri Hank Williams he sand, and amazingly may I add. Wished I could’ve met him in my younger years that’s for sure, wouldn’t have forgotten that memory if it happened smikes😅

I think I saw every show, in black and white and color. Janis was on an early show, and I remember him looking in her in awe. He was at his best on stage alone or with great guests, in That Suit. Disappointing that he got locked into a bad contract and changed format to spandex with dancers in gold lame. He carried his original show format with class. Adding the dance floor with colored lights where he could strut his stuff was brilliant. Lord, God, Tom dancing. Nothing quite like him, before or since. Thanks to the Creator of All Things, for giving us Tom Jones.

I first saw Fran Jeffries in the Pink Panther doing a fantastic song and dance routine to Meglio Stasera . She had perfect timing on the dance routine. And what a voice, she was a really good singer as well.
I love this song and the two together. What always amuses me, if they sing someghing like "it takes someone special.....". When Tom sigs this words, Fran asks: like me? When Fran sings the same words, he just says "thank you". I think, in this regards not much has changed since then.
