Since 10 years at least and onto the hands of pro racers the 250 2-stroke sound like a 125cc, when i was young the 250 2-stroke was a beast for us as the 450F is for the today riders
And I always wanted to see Kevin Windham on a Honda Service 500cc, even today he will looks great on it and the sound will be magical

Its officially replaced now with your's. The GOAT, The 2 stroke sound (especially in the woods) and now in High Def,High Fidelity. Totally agree with xXRadioRamboXx it's destined to go viral. Four strokes were fine at big bore, like the XR 600 that sounds like Thunder. These motocross fourstrokes are fine, but 2 strokes should be allowed to compete with them and maybe a little bump up in cc. In 2005 four strokes were there but most pro riders picked 2 stroke....2 stroke engines are a lighter quicker reving engine....

Two strokes don't need to be made great again, they already are....rules prevent them from dominating the 4 strokes. A 2 stroke in the 320 to 360 cc range could produce more and as good power as a 450 4 stroke but it won't be developed as there is no place to race it in AMA motocross/Supercross. The rule that keeps the 250 from beating the 4 strokes is the weight rule. A YZ250 that would weigh around 190 would kill any of the 4 strokes.

nobody is "butthurt" except maybe you....I just stated the real truth about what is happening. Two strokes can be made to respond like a 4 stroke and vice versa. Four strokes have continued to be pushed on us so that the factories can make more money. It's as simple as that. I like to ride 4 strokes but I would like a MUCH lighter 2 stroke that performs like a 4 stroke and it is possible. It's just that there is no incentive to make them because of current AMA rules that won't allow them to be raced. A 170 pound 175 2 stroke with an enduro power band would be so much fun to ride it would be crazy...
I wont deny i think they change the rules so either bike is equally competitive. I just dont think anyone should be against either. i love all dirt bikes!
equality competitive ? They're not equal. Four strokes have a definite advatage from the rules. I'm not against them either. The last year my son raced was 2006. We had 4 YZ's....a 450, 250f, a 250 2 stroke, and a 125. In early 2007 we went with the 450 and 250F Hondas. I've owned some where around 50 dirt bikes. All I have left is the YZ250 2 stroke with a 295 kit. I doubt that I will every sell it as it probably is the best overall bike I ever ridden let alone owned.

Increased slide pipe thickness for improved overall chassis balance and smoother mid-stroke movement. Revised compression and rebound damping valve settings for smoother mid-stroke movement and better overall suspension balance. New handlebar mount for Renthal handlebars
Improved rear shock performance with emphasis on better cornering and straight line performance: Revised compression and rebound damping valve settings for smoother mid-stroke movement and better overall suspension balance. Revised spring rate for better overall chassis balance
