Pilots say, "If it looks right, it'll fly right." Of the ten planes shown in this video none looked more wrong, and flew more badly, than the Goblin. (Why else would they give it that name?) It proved almost impossible to dock the little monstrosity in its carrier's bay, and in any case the Goblin proved unable to match current-generation fighters in free flight, let alone combat.

Propeller aircraft were reaching the limit of how high they could fly 100 years ago because the air would get thin beyond 10,000 feet. The Caproni aircraft tried to solve that problem with an air baffle in their design and in fact, this solution led to the development of jet engines.

Unfortunately the most amazing advanced unusual aircraft are either always hidden or destroyed due to cutting edge technology. Like imagine having a museum with all of American canada avro arrow, lockheed Martin, mcdonall Douglas, bombardier, Rockwell etc. Aircrafts experimental/ covert aircraft. Like in canada the late 1950s avro canada building the worlds best interceptor for the same or close. which ultimately destroyed the company and had the Canadian American British government forcefully scrap the highly advanced supersonic interceptors for lots of reasons no one actually knows why it was canceled weather it was because of icbms or because American superiority being challenged on its border. But they destroyed everyone that we know of and what replaced the avro arrow American f104 starfighter which was way more behind in almost all areas compared to the avro arrow. And the avro arrow engineering and speed it could of easily be rebuilt larger and turned in to a supersonic heavy bomber instead of being a between fighter reconnaissance aircraft size. even by todays standards the data that we due know about the arrow makes it a great aircraft to field even today in the 21st century
