MATERIALS (for one noisemaker)
3-inch-diameter papier-mâché ball amzn.to/38aYoL5
Acrylic paint: orange, black, red, green, white
Artist paintbrushes
Fine grit sandpaper amzn.to/3cpauDJ
Crafts knife amzn.to/2I9xatI
Small dried beans (I used black beans)
12-inch-long twig
Hot-glue gun and glue sticks amzn.to/2I3FLht
Wire-edge ribbon
Black button
Daisy die-cut shape
Construction paper: scrap of black (for cat ears) ; I used scrap-booking paper which is better quality and acid-free.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Paint Papier-mache ball orange or black; let dry.
Referring to my video, paint facial features on ball, applying heavy or multiple coats for coverage. Let paint dry and then lightly sand to distress the paint. Wipe off sanding dust.
Cut a small opening in the bottom of ball with the crafts knife. Push a few beans into the ball through the hole. Insert the twig into the hole; secure with hot glue.
Tie ribbon into a bow around twig near bottom of the ball. Hot-glue button to daisy shape and glue daisy shape at center of bow.
To make a cat noisemaker, cut two 1 1/2 inch triangles from construction paper. Make a 1/2-inch flap on each triangle by folding one edge. Glue flaps to top of ball.

Hi guys! It's that time of year again, holiday season time. I thought I'd get a jump start on things and start making Halloween craft videos now in case some of you would like to try them for yourselves. Please feel free to comment below with ideas for future videos. I've been researching and have a few in mind, but I'm always open to suggestions. As always, I hope you all enjoy this video and find it relaxing.

It's not exactly a "craft", but they make these little fossil excavation kits where you can tap, scrape, and brush away to reveal, in some kits, real fossils. I thought that sort of thing could be very relaxing to watch/listen to. There are several on Amazon.

I've just moved to Hong Kong and this vlog is making me yearn for our "old" life in Connecticut.

I've been to China, but not HK. I could have gone during the China trip, but I would have needed another week and more money and I had neither to spare. Sad that I missed it.

Is it just me or are the cup sounds amazing? Just a subtle sound but gives me great tingles.
My videos never give me tingles. I need to actually try to work on one that purposely creates tingles.
The fact that you aren't even trying to give tingles just shows what an amazing voice you have. I honestly like these more than your other ones and I thought they were good lol. Sometimes simple is all that is needed. I have noticed lately that the harder some try the less I like them. Hope that made sense without sounding to mean.

Hi Sasse, I'm so glad you're back! I've been watching your videos since the time of "Old Lady asmr" and you actually got me into making a youtube channel, so that I could comment under your videos. You're such an original person and every single video that you make, you put so much effort in it and I really appreciate that. Hearing that you'll may quit with making eating videos first got me a little sad, but then also happy, cause tbh I do want you to talk much and update us about your life. You always have so many interesting things to tell and I have the feeling that you feel much more comfortable in talking within these crafting videos and don't have ppl complain about you doing things wrong constantly. I just want you to know I love you so much and the videos you make and I would love to see more of the things you love to do whether it's eating or crafting. Take care of yourself and hopefully you'll get better soon.

Sorry to hear about the medical condition. My thoughts are with you. Your videos have really helped me in 2014 when my everyday life experience drastically changed. I was able to make it through thanks to meditation techniques and soft speaking and eating videos (Thank you). We also celebrate Halloween more and more each year but we dont decorate our houses like yall do, we just dress up and party like it's 1999 ;) Hope youre okay, sending you good vibes ❤
Ah, and I look forward to the cooler weather we have here in autumn, but I think Argentina gets a lot colder in winter than southern California, so I can understand why you want it warmer. Lots of people here do go all out with Halloween home decorations. I wish I could share that in a vlog. I know a street in one city here that goes crazy with it. But I can only film when Halloween falls on a weekend and it will be on a week night for a few more years. :/ Thank you for the good vibes.

I really enjoyed this! While I've never been hit in the face with a giant cinnamon stick, I'd imagine walking into any crafts store after Labor Day would kinda be the same thing.

SassEkrafts ASMR LOL! There are roughly 6 craft stores in my vicinity so my entire side of town smells of cinnamon after Labor Day, so I can't imagine how strong the cinnamon smell is when you're actually in the store.
Only one side of Michael's smells like cinnamon. I like it. :) They are already putting up Christmas decorations. :/

Another Halloween craft idea is one of those diorama scenes that you create inside of the foam pumpkins that they sell at Michaels.
I will look into it! The only thing holding me back is budget, but I will see if I can do one.

Thank you. Yes, right now, I can't eat a lot of foods and also, eating videos are too difficult to make with the noises where I live. I can make craft videos any time of day or night, but eating videos I can only make when I'm hungry and it is always too loud when I'm hungry, so I give up.

You could do a pumpkin carving video. I feel like hearing you saw through the pumpkin would be really relaxing. Also every time you post a video it takes me several days to make it all the way through. Today I just had to watch it during the day because I've yet to make it past you painting the cat eyes lol and really wanted to see how they turn out. Keep up the amazing videos!

Please do a cookie icing/decorating video for the holidays. You can give away the cookies and I'd love to see your icing handiwork. The snowflake cookies from your instagram picture a few years back were adorable. I also love your sewing videos. Maybe you could make something simple like a hand puppet.
I'd like to do a cookie video, but those are so messy and take so long, I didn't go through with it last year. They were quite yummy, though, if I do say so myself. I also have a couple of sewing videos in mind that are so darn cute, I can't wait to try them. Thank you for the suggestions. :)

My eating is so dampened, you all can't imagine the torture I've been through. Almost all my food is made from scratch and bland as can be (as I can't eat vinegars, citrus, spice, sugar, garlic, onion). I'm used to it now, however, and I think this is a life lesson for me, to be honest. I ate a lot of sugar and refined carbs before and too often and now I'm facing the fact that I need to eat better for life. I'm glad my videos are helping you through your pregnancy.
