The best way to study the Bible is under the tuition of experienced bible teachers who know how things link up from Genesis to Revelation. Humility is the plumb line.

Talking with an amillennialist and they bring the verse where Jesus says, "this generation shall not pass away until all is fulfilled...." I decided to look up "generation" in the Greek and found that it can also be translated as "race" as in race of people. Which makes sense because He also said that every nation will hate them (as in a race of people, and not just a 40 year span of people). It also perfectly explains why Satan is trying to completely wipe them out as a race.
But last night I had a dream. I never have dreams- -rarely anyway, or at least I don't remember them. Last night the verse where Jesus said, "a wicked and perverse generation seeks a sign..." came to me and then the verse where Paul said that Israel seeks a sign. 1 Corinthians 1:22. I looked it up.
I just wanted to share that because I've never heard anyone ever mention it and I thought it was huge.

I wish you would reconsider a video on post millennialism. I understand your point about better time spent on other topics but this is it a speaking in tongue issue or dancing with raptors; some fringe misunderstanding.
Supposedly premillennialism is just a recent concept; that historically the church leaders believed in post millennialism.
there’s a lot as you know, prominent speaker/leaders that are proponents of post millennialism, and this list seems to be growing. I think a video from you on this topic would be well respected/received. You’re very logical and methodical in your approach.

The 6000 years is given to the Jews. Add the church age and then the millennium rein before the new heaven and the new earth?

Brother; "reformed" as you describe them, being anti semetic and Israel is replaced, is not necessarily true.
John MacArthur has videos about Israel's salvation at the appointed time. Clearly teaching the church has not replaced Israel. Teaching about the millenial kingdom for Israel.
He speaks of his love for Israel and he preaches the gospel.
I fail to see in john any of the things you say reformers are.
John includes Luther and Calvin's commentaries in his sermons, but never heard him talk smack about Jews and is accurate about prophecy concerning them.
He has backed up his teaching with thorough scripture demonstration.
In my opinion, the finest bible pastor of this era.
    ....
    Reformed means
    By Grace Alone
    By Faith Alone
    By Christ Alone
    By Scripture Alone
To the Glory of God Alone
    ...
These are the pillars of reformed theology Luther and Calvin fought so hard and risked their lives for,
    to have the church understand.
This is far different than you describe.
Calvin or Luther personal conduct has nothing to do with the Five Solas.
    ......
The church needs to understand the bible to the degree they can say the Solas are absolute.
To understand them is to understand and believe the depths and glory of God.
    ....
Ain't nothing wrong with reformed, it is deepest in understanding of illuminated scripture there is.
    ....
I do hope that the word Calvin or reformed causes people to not listen to john macurther.

Calvinism is a false gospel. They SAY by grace alone, through faith alone, etc etc but they add to it in their teachings. If you pay close attention, they double talk and contradict themselves. But, if they are asked about it, they just say they are teaching the Word or that we are wrong to question God's sovereignty. God isn't deceptive or out to trick us. Calvinism thinks so.

      @@graftme3168 what do "they" add..??
.....you need to back up your testimony with evidence or it is heresy.
It doesn't tell me anything, it leaves one to speculate.
Saying "they add"......without testifying "what" they "add" is horse crap.
      ......
      According to scripture;
      Salvation is by grace alone.
There is only one word of God, so it is by scripture alone.
And the gospel of God, justification is by faith alone.
Nothing we can do to acquire righteousness means it is by Christ alone.
All things are for the glory of God alone.
I don't need any denomination including Calvin when it's already sprinkled throughout the scripture.
I saw this long before I ever heard of John Calvin or John MacArthur.
      As it is written,
"...the Spirit of Truth will REVEAL......"
      ...
I ask you....what do Calvinists "add" ....as you claim.

@@graftme3168I am very interested to see why you think that because throughout all scripture it is taught by grace alone and faith alone. Romans 11, Ephesians 2:8-10, 1 Corinthians 15:10, Galatians 1:11-16, Romans 8-11, Romans 3:9-26. A HUGE chapter to read is Romans 4 where Paul talks about Abraham having faith in God accounted for righteousness. But throughout all scripture it is evident that it is a gift from God not of our own doing, so we cannot merit salvation from God, but only by His own gift and choosing to give the gift of salvation, that is very evident in scripture, that is Romans 11:1-6.

    • @graftme3168

@@steven__bills1011 The first chapter of Romans tells us that God has given all men sufficient evidence of truth and that men either choose to believe that revealed truth or suppress the truth. The end of Romans 9 makes it clear what the passage is all about. If you stop short of the chapter you get what you got. But, it specifically tells us the sum of the matter and that is that God has chosen from the beginning that He will save those who receive the righteousness of God by faith, and will not save those who seek righteousness through works. It is not teaching that God predetermined certain individuals that He would save and not others. It is teaching that He predetermined whoever believes and receives the righteousness of Christ will be saved. Context matters. You have to take the whole conversation into consideration.

@@graftme3168 interesting, so my question to you is what are your thoughts on Romans 9:6-13? Paul is saying that God did not look down the corridor of time and choose Jacob because of his good deeds or that he would accept to put faith in Christ, but it was before Jacob and Esau had done any good or evil that it was by God’s election that Jacob would be chosen over Esau.
Another question for you is your thoughts on Romans 9:13-24? Paul’s question here is “What if?” Could you let God be God and you be you?
