    I miss Pastor Stephen. He is with the Lord now. I was blessed I was able to find Verse By Verse Ministry International in 2015 after being saved by Jesus Christ, I love God’s Word. I will continue to listen to the teaching along with my Bible Study.

      Just finding out about his work now. I didn’t know he passed on. I don’t think I have ever had anyone explain the bible like this pastor. May his soul rest in peace. This is food right here. Wonderful man of God

      I hope at this point the body and spirit separates(soul sleep is not a good idea), the body sleeps, the spirit reach paradise.
      When Jesus died, He committed His spirit into His father's hands, Ascended on high, led the captive, met the thief in Paradise, third day His spirit came back to the body and He rose again. (Luke 23:46, Ephesians 4:8, 1 Kings 17:22, 1 Corinthians 15:4)
      When Lazar and the Rich died, angels carried Lazarus to Abraham's bosom, but the Rich man was tormented in Hades, while his five brothers were still partying back home

    The good Lord let me to this ministry. I read a few of the comments and learned he’s with our Creator. What a gifted teacher of Scripture and it’s comforting to know one day I will meet him in life eternal ✝️🕊️

    I have been listening to Pastor Armstrong’s Genesis teaching for 3 months now. It has brought me closer to the person I want to be. For the first time in my life I find myself hearing God talk to me. Maybe I’m just asking the right questions or maybe I’m just really listening. I feel like I’m making progress in my spiritual life and I wish the Pastor was here to hear how much I appreciate his teaching. He was a very talented teacher. I have listened to many lessons two or three times. I’m going to start over and listen to it again next week when I’m finished. God bless you all and your little church in Austin. If I lived a little closer I’d come down to visit but 3 hours is a long trip for me.

    I have been diligently seeking a Bible study that is verse by verse. I have found several good ministers, but haven't found any that start with Genesis! I was so grateful to find this. I will be in this everyday! Thank you for sharing !

    It's a shame there is no video recording. EDIT: They have a NOTES section on their website if you look for the same recording, which gives the outline of the talk to follow along with in a pdf, really useful for the non-English words referred to.

    Stephen, I see no one is hungry for the word. I watched your 34 hours of revelation series in 2.5 days. No doubt about it! Love ya bro, from Canada.

      I’ve been listening online and didn’t know it was on video too until yesterday. I’ve listened to Genesis for over 100 lessons so far, many more because I repeatedly watched some as many as three times. I envy your ability to watch 34 hours over a weekend. I have too much other stuff to do to be able to do that but I have started to listen at night also. It gives me peace. I hope you get as much out of it as I do. He’s a wonderful teacher. It hurt my heart when I heard he’d died.

      I find it interesting that the second psalm is referenced as the "proton" psalm. As king of kings, Jesus has his throne on the mercy seat. We are the elect--electon in Greek. The Proton draws the electon with cords of love. The wicked want to cut those cords "asunder." Even more interesting is that Moses shows us the way of life that passes through 3 courts like the 3 shells of an atom. And we gather light as we go. Isn't that amazing! And our calling and purpose is to take the journey, seeking the face of God. ❤

    So why did God allow sin and darkness on this earth? Was it our free will? Was it for his glory? Can someone explain please

    • @sheezajohn9000
      @sheezajohn9000 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sin was never created by God, it was the human being who decided to sin, because God gave us the freedom to choice, and it always has been our decision to choose God direction or to sin.

    Really enjoyed this but he really confused me with the bouncing around thought this was about Genesis but I heard more about other books and people than Genesis . I am Born Again Christian and really trying to understand the Word and get confused easily can someone maybe tell me if there is some one else on TH-cam platform that might be able to break stuff down better for someone slow like me

    The spirit of God "brooded" on the face of the deep--in a cold and sunless earth. Brooding also describes the fluttering action of an eagle over its nest. Just as warm air brings lightning from the snow clouds, LIGHT came from the icy deep. And then let us remember the Apostle's Creed. A believe in God, the Father Almighty. And in Jesus Crist our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Just as Light was conceived by the Holy Spirit. In Job we are taught that light is encoded with language. There have been followers who have heard the light speak, while others heard only thunder. Where does matter come from? Well, if you collide matter with antimatter, both are completely obliterated, except for one thing. Light. What is light? Good question. And I have a practical question. Since lightning comes from warm air and ice crystals, why are we still paying expensive electric bills?
