I’m okay with The One Ring being restricted or Banned. I have always thought Phlage or Ocelot Pride would be on the chopping block for Boros before Guide of Souls. I’m Enjoying the game right now after a 6-7 year break, but I’m hopeful to see what happens on the next lists. 😄
@@tri-cardgames i still love modern as well. took a 3 year break and came back. usually play mono green tron and the only upgrade i would need is 3-4 rings and maybe sowing mycospawn/kozileks command. with so many potential banworthy cards, i'm waiting on a ban announcement before upgrading. commander with the bros til then
@@briang3101 Mad respect for playing Tron. If you haven’t looked into the through the breach deck that runs the Mycospawn? Might be worth looking into because it can absolutely peel people with the new Ulamog or Emrakul.
@@tri-cardgames i've played some breach against other top meta decks on xmage. the new eldrazi are pretty sick but ugin the spirit dragon and ulamog the ceaseless hunger on t4-5 still ends most games, regardless. using the one ring is protection from boros aggro and tron, ime plays well against control, simply for how good it is at playing off the top of the deck. not to mention veil of summer, ensnaring bridge, chalice and trinisphere shuts down alot of counter play while buying enough time to play through bloodmoon. the only deck that just blows me out more often than not is ruby storm. but only if i didn't add a few weather the storms in the sideboard
if they would ban ring, the format would be so much better off
