Cybran are the best nation. They just want to be left alone to their own devices, and choose how they want to evolve in their ways of thinking and science.
They literally are the good guys, I know I'm commenting on an 8 year old post here but the UEF want them to be slaves and the Aeon want to genocide them. they just want live alone.
Yes, somewhat. In-game they are controlled by the player just like the ACU - that is to say neither has any high level of autonomy. In lore, yes entirely. All units except for the ACU are controlled by the commander/pilot in the ACU wirelessly. In fact, some of the lore on the wiki states that the Seraphim, upon their initial invasion, were using all piloted vehicles, but after seeing how many losses they were taking, they modeled their own ACU on those of the human armies.
The Cybran are the most relatable faction in Supreme Commander. Whereas the UEF is an authoritarian regime and the Aeon are motivated by religious zealotry, the Cybran only wanted freedom from oppression and to choose for themselves.
True, but Cybran are intended to be used for guerilla warfare. That is, their lore is that they're all refugees, escaped slaves, basically. It stands to reason that while individual Cybrans are smarter than the other people, their lack of easy access to large quantities of resources forces them to invent both high-tech yet frugal tools of war. In gameplay, the key to Cybrans is to maximize the amount of rock-paper-scissors you use and have perfect intel. And gunships. LOTS of gunships.
Hey 27hifives, thanks for the comment. I'm currently uploading videos at 1080p which is obviously much higher quality thant 720p (This video) Anyway.... Soon is the release of Supreme Commander 2 and you can expect a BUNCH, I mean.... A BUUUUNCH of HD SupCom 2 videos from me! Both Single and multiplayer, so stay tuned :D
I have evolved behind the line of what you consider being a living being during those millions of years. I'm like the Cogitor depicted in the Left side of the Dune Saga.
Unless you are facing the Aeon ... whom have a distinct anti-air advantage. I personally like the cybran but some of the weapons and tech need a redesign. SupCom 1 and FA for me is a little different then my strategy style anyway. Its heavily attrition based where as my tactics are more guerilla type (small group strategy). Something thats a shame for me is the fact you cannot redesign units as you might need them ... oh well.
I have a question for you. I resently started playing supreme commander. And i am wondering, are all in-game units that you create drones? I know that it´s a noobish question, but i was just wondering...
Haven't done much research on that one so naaah. Except that SupCom 2's graphic won't be as low-set as the graphics options in the first game for Xbox 360 because of the completely new graphic engine they're using, which allows more for less use. That's all I know tbh ^^ I'd redommend it for the PC though, like all RTS games.
I could do that, but that won't be until I get a my last parts for a new PC that I ordered. I'll reinstall the game and record at a 1920x1080 resolution making it FULL HD 1080p quality. Stay tuned
Yeah I really recommend it, ESPECIALLY in this case where you have a new computer - Even if you can't play with max settings it's probably higher than the 360's. I guarantee you a MUCH better playing experience without those nasty analog sticks for this type of games !
yes it is but the only thing i dont like about FA is that the AI is too easy, i mean i played a 1v1 against a adaptive and they had like 6 bases and i had one monkeylord and i defeated them with it, just that nothing added
Cybrans: Awesome in style and purpose, but sadly under-powered even though logically they would probably have significant advantages over the other factions due to their whole whole personally augmented with tech thing.
-you spend too much time here alone doctor
-Well, I don't know if you have noticed, but I'm a brain in a freaking jar!
Why did I read that in Carl from Aqua Team Hunger Force's voice? XD
*My child
**Oh yes

@@nigelwestdickens6947 to be fair, only one half of the aeon want to genocide them. The other half want to show them a peaceful way of life.
Cybran is most fun, oh yes.
All of the Cybrans are badass.
Oh yes.
I do love this opening... Oh yes.
If they were real, I'd join them in a heart beat. ^^

i love these kind cut scenes! reminds me of the good ol c&c games
QAI sounds here more brutal than in Forged Alliance.
That commanders helmet reminds me of the dead space helmets, but more red and badass
It's also piloted. Safe to assume it's not any in-game unit, but rather a transport for the incoming Cybran Commander.
Oh, yes.
Funny how their ACU looks the most evil, yet they are the most peaceful group.
OH YES

So, they're basically Nod? Okay.

That's why you made her look like that... I fucking love you !!!
0:41 MAI BOH, THIS PEECE IS WOT ALL TROO WARRIAHS STRIVE FOH
Cybran for victory
It took me 13 years to notice the clipping at 1:11
That's great to hear! I'll be looking forward to it. And congrats on your new PC :)
I haven't played much of Supcom 1 but I own Supcom 2 and yes I totally agree
so,you wear a helmet and then got into another helmet.
Unless you are facing the Aeon ... whom have a distinct anti-air advantage.

Cybran the best!!!!!!
If you pay attention you will see me from the otherside of the Virtual realm
It's actually quite impressive that the cybrans want to run away. If they fought, they could probably do it effortlessly with their access to AI
1:34 , that's me in lower self version
I have a question for you.

I know that it´s a noobish question, but i was just wondering...
yeah
Oh yes.
@TNH1n1 You're welcome!
What is that plane in the beginning? It's neither a strat bomber nor a torpedo bomber but has features of both. Very odd.
doltBmB It's actually a modified Eagle Eyes Tech 1 Scout.
Thank you!
And by the way...
Sorry for taking 2 months before answering, didn't quite catch the comment on this one :)
its ok

That's Jack Angel voicing QAI.

Cybrans give me the creeps, frankly.
Excellent vids! Will you be uploading the cutscenes and endings in HD as well?
Negatively badass...

Unless i obliterate everyone with black sun as the UEF
My favourite space socialists
true problem with SupCom FA is that its such a hog in terms of use.
yes it is but the only thing i dont like about FA is that the AI is too easy, i mean i played a 1v1 against a adaptive and they had like 6 bases and i had one monkeylord and i defeated them with it, just that nothing added
I played against turtle and they were launching nuke every thirty seconds at the 30-minute mark.
@@lkj53okay that's rough

they don't have the resources
You're meant to adopt guerrilla tactics. Hit and runs, stealth, etc...
What the cybrans lose in firepower is counterbalanced by their various ability
There is some parallel between the cybran and Russian. And at least somwhere in games it looks like not awful)))
@「 OKAY 」 I Saw Somewhere in the lore that dostya is originated from from a region of eastern europe
@「 OKAY 」 then cybran company end, dostya tells, that she put some vottles of vodka in acu package for commander xD
MUH FREEDOM!!!1
@27hifives Supreme Commander 2 wasnt that fun.
I hate the cybran comander
