This guitarist is fantastically talented. Amazing skill level. However, when played on just one guitar, the piece musical expression does suffer a little. It is impressive but the notes are a bit crowded, and again, the separate melodies are not as well expressed musically, particularly in section A of the piece. I think it sounds better on two guitars.
@@keithfallinghorse6732 what is it my fault that your reading and comprehension ability is that of an English as a second language first grader? The guitar has six strings, and a range of 3 1/2 octaves. The piano for which this piece was originally written has 88 keys, and seven octave range, and the pianist can use both hands to play accompaniment and melody. You shouldn’t be shocked that some piano pieces do not transpose that well for one guitar. Some do, and very successfully, like Granada, like Spanish dance number five, or La Maja de Goya. Others, like this one are so complicated, they’re much better when they are played by two guitars, I personally recommend the Ida Presti and Alexandre La Goya version. For future cheap attempts at sarcasm: I admire the guitarist, the arrangement is nice too but a guitar duo handles that piece better.
Thought the exact same thing. Not that familiar with the piece but i heard it before and it sounded a bit off now. Then i remembered i heard a duet so no wonder it sounded less distinguished and clear now. Still, this arrangement and exhibition came close to fooling me it was a solo guitar piece.
@@AJ-gt7uy I get it. I simply said that this piece sounds better with two guitars. Not necessarily everything sounds better on two guitars. There’s a very famous tremolo piece that does not sound better with two guitars

Your anguish is palpable. Here's hoping that many years of counseling will help you.
