@@kerryemmiebet Oh I now the struggle! I go back and forth between committing to no new starts and wanting to start everything. I wish I could commit to finishing up my current wips before starting something new, but I never win that battle! And now that I've discovered the Dimensions paint by number kits, That opened up a whole new can of worms! I just finished one ( video will be up later) and I have 2 more ready to start. The good thing about them is that they go really quick and a lot of the kits are the same artwork as their cross stitch kits!
Calico I’ve seen you painting on Instagram. I look forward to seeing your video. I’m a terrible painter so I won’t be giving it a try! I am not naturally crafty and seem to pretty much fail at everything I try. I will stick to cross stitch because I know I can do that! Lol! I do enjoy living vicariously through others though. 😺

Calico I’ve always wanted to be able to paint. I have tried but I am just too heavy-handed and impatient! I am more of a technical person. I can build a computer from scratch and work out problems with computers and other technology but I am useless at pretty much all crafts! My brother has the artistic streak in our family and his eldest daughter (my niece Emmie) is at university now studying art. I wish I could be more like them but at least I can help them sort out any technical issues they have. My brother and sister in law have their own business and I can be their IT Department!!

You can often get dimensions gold collection and petites in hobbycraft if you are looking in the uk. Love the dimensions parade you have some I’ve never seen before. J x

You should have a year of Dimensions starts! No, I know that wouldn’t work for you, but how awesome would that be! I loved seeing all the pretties you have. I love the look of Dimensions patterns, not sure yet I can get the hang of stitching them though.
The rocking stitcher A year of Dimensions starts sounds a very interesting concept but I definitely know I could not handle the amount of WIPs I would end up with. I have 6 WIPs now and it is making my brain hurt to even consider how I am going to get them all finished! Dimensions charts aren’t as difficult as they first look. Just pay close attention to the instructions and you will be fine. My biggest piece of advice though would be to do the backstitching as you go. I used to leave it all to the end and it can be very overwhelming. I hope you manage to start one some day. 💜

Great Video. I have some Dimensions Gold (treasured time, Aurora cabin, teddy bears) but not enough time for stitching them. Are they hard to stitch? They look difficult. I'm not a beginner. I made my first cross stich when I was 13, I'll be 40 next month 🙈 but there were long breaks between. It's very relaxing to me just to look at all my leafleats. My favourite are Paula Vaughan from Leisure Art. Your Video about stitching "through a fathers eyes" is the reason I found your channel 😍. I can understand your English very well. I learned German and French at school but I wouldn’t be able to understand much if I tried to watch a video in either language. My Mum stitch some Dimensions teddy bears. I think it was called “Row Of Love”. I do love Paula Vaughan’s designs but after stitching two I don’t think I will get to stitching another one. I have so many others I want to do. I also love just looking through my patterns and kits. Now I have my Craft Room they are all at-hand which makes looking at them a lot easier. Happy New Year and I hope you have a great 2020 💜

Holly Anthony Hi Holly. Thank you for your comment. With Dimensions kits I use a Pako thread organiser to keep my threats neat and tidy whilst being easily accessible.
