$56 in 2 hours. What about your fuel cost?🤔
All I know is that almost all of these youtubers that are now Gold and Platinum were screaming bloody murder against accepting low paying orders. And all of a sudden, they telling us about how nice it is to be on top.
Twofaced liars.
DD paid them in the background algos
I was Platinum dasher for about 10 months thanks to the glitch.Without the glitch is not worth it at all.I just run doordash as last resort now.I just run Uber Eats and Grub Hub.Sad that i do fewer grub Hub order and still make more than i do in Doordash
It’s all bullshit. They’re either cheating or are lying about how many bad orders they’re actually taking. Everytime I get to 30% AR I get ten or fifteen of the worst slave labor trash you can imagine and I immediately fall back to single digits. It’s all fake! Pedro and Kim’s side money plans etc are taking more trash than they’re showing. I’ve seen other channels in their markets not even coming close to the amount they make.
wait until they are monetized youtubers and see their tones change again just for content
I went from barely making $25 an hour cherry picking to an 88% AR and making $15 on average. I currently find myself getting frustrated with how I can do 5 orders straight and not see that AR move to 89% to rejecting one right after and moving to 87%. I went from only needing $10 of gas per work hours to having to use $15 to $20.. I’m not seeing the benefits doordash advertised
Your AR isn't gonna move the higher it is. At 80% AR you only have 20 declines to replace with accepts so it's gonna take what feels like a million orders to get it up.
Not seeing the benefits?. LMAO
@@Bryan-yx2rt 😭
@@doylerobertston1246 You do realize, that there are a limited number of good to great orders, don't you? DD is famous for offering things they can't deliver. I don't think the customers realize how it works for the drivers, and they assume they're going to get whatever they order every time and quickly. Not ever going to happen
Yeah, or just do 4 a day and then turn it off. You'll have 100 % in a month.
You won't be making any money, but it would get you that top status you so desire. With 100 deliveries in the past 30 days and no declines.
When drivers start quitting, D.D. they will get their act together. If these people don't want to tip, they should get in their own car and pick up their food. People NEED to make $$$$.
Well not sure about Miami but in NYC we have thousands of migrants now working and happily accepting any offer. DD wants all of us vets to quit so migrants work instead.
They don’t care cuz new drivers always appear.
DD is like the Casino you cant beat it . Take your wins while you can , it will never be beat
I have been dashing for two weeks now, and I only have gotten a five dollar tip. So I feel where you are coming from. I might give it one more try to see if it's the same way, then if so, I'm quitting
I did an experiment when DoorDash reset acceptance rates. I was able to stay above 70% for a while, then above 50%. DD has a target hourly rate for every region/driver.
If you try to keep your acceptance rate high, they will send you a decent amount of higher pay orders. But they'll also send a bunch of no tip orders and high mileage orders ($11/19 miles) in order to keep your hourly rate on target.
You end up making around the same amount as cherry picking, but driving a lot more miles to make up for the $2 orders. In my market it makes sense to cherry pick because gas, oil changes and repairs are not free, so driving longer distance for similar money is dumb.
Every DD scheme that involves high acceptance rate (or straight hourly option) is designed to get you delivering $2 orders. It's not worth the effort.
Doordash makes literally the same amount off every customer regardless of their tip amount, that's why they started this cause without it the non tippers orders would never get moved and then they would stop ordering thus Doordash would start to lose profits, nothing they introduce is to benefit the people delivering their orders, they need every order moved to keep everyone happy so they can make a profit, Doordash falls to realize that they have no profit of orders dont get moved
Gaslighting 101
All the orders are generated on the basis of dasher availability and paid on the basis of area and market availability. Doordash doesn't send you the orders manually. These systems are generated and assigned to the dashers randomly. If a customer is not added a tip that is not a doordash issue. Doordash is not gonna add tops on the behalf of customers. If a customer has not added tips and placed order with doordash than someone should have to complete that order. Its nok like that you will only get orders with tips
@@rahul_3156 of course they are not manually assigned. They have an algorithm that does the assigning. And they definitely adjust the base fee to get to the hour rate.
I've tracked it, and if I only make $6 in 30, mins, they'll send an $11-13 order to meet the hourly target rate. This only applies if you don't pause or skip orders - you have to accept them all.
The problem with accepting them all to get the hourly rate is you'll take orders with terrible mileage and won't make money after expenses.
Hope DD paid you well for that post 😂
@@rahul_3156no, someone should NOT have to deliver that no-tip looser. The reason restaurants require a gratuity, for example, is because they know ungrateful customers are bad for business. All this acceptance rate BS is just enabling them
They decline on camera but off camera they take the bs , but some started using TH-cam to cover for the losses . Pedro is one of them .
Yeah, Id agree after watching him, he seems to be a great movtivational speaker but its all show to gain clicks and play off of the atrocity of the emotions of the struggles of gig work! Its all about views n clicks and the fact the public relations of doordash reached out to him to ask his audience questions, youll see it in his vids! I had to unsubscribe to that guy and many many many others as I learned there are many fake doordash content creators out to make a buck and some of them dont even dash, they just promote high tier crap over and over and no reality of what its like.
I actually know that guy, he is pretty cool. We dash in the same market and he even told me about the only 24 hr diner in St Louis! Super nice guy!

I got a $53 order on DoorDash on Mother's Day with 9% AR, lol. Welcome to team GoPro!!! I love my GoPro.
Because it was Mother’s Day 😂
I made 100 in 1hr on DD with an AR of 38%, made 60 in 1hr on uber eats by doing walmart drops.
My market is so saturated you can't even get on the schedule unless you're Platinum .
Same here
The way it should be
The way it should be
Too many immigrants and fake accounts ruining it for the real American people
I just made it to a Platinum dasher in NYC and now all of sudden I am unable to schedule a dash at 3pm. Its giving me an error message when I try to click on the time I want. In addition when I try to click on the hotpot to dash now it shows a error message saying that spot has already been filled.
I’m so glad you are NOT out here taking boo-boo orders just to raise your acceptance rate! ❤️❤️💰💰
I went to Walmart Spark a year ago and never turned back. I made much more money. I don’t put as many miles on my car and my clientele is much better.
I’m loving Spark and only just started last week! I did receive a few good orders in between. I stopped worrying about my AR about two weeks ago and just try to get on the schedule or Dash Now when I can. ♥️
I got invited on spark, but havent tried it out yet, yet I heard it is the highest paying app there is??? I made 60 dollars in 1hr on uber eats doing walmart drop offs. I have seen other high paying orders for walmart drops but never took them as I was afraid Id not be able to fit everything into my car
Even driving NEAR a Wal-Mart puts you at much greater risk of having an auto accident. I won't go near them unless It's just unavoidable. Even if u don't look back be sure to check your mirrors, another driver could be approaching
Hmmm, i just got invited onto walmart spark, but I havent finished the last thing which was the direct deposit thingy, they are weird because all my other apps just let me put in a routing number and my bank etc... Walmart spark wants me to sign up for something? I found that bizzare!!!!
IMO The tier system is designed to keep turnover high, To get people to take a few orders and just give up mostly while DD is able to bring in new blood that is easier to manipulate.
DD knows there are plenty of immigrants willing to pick low paying offers so they have the luxury to come up with these tier systems because they know we are disposable
That's because they can't read the terms of the contract because it's written in English. It says 2 dollars for 7 .miles but how can u tell which is which? Or if it is a zero tip, they just have no idea, just follow the gps, go I to the restaurant and stick your phone in someone's face.
Cherry picking until base pay average is $10 or better. Should not be delivering nothing less than $10
Agreed 100%, in 7 months doing this full time, I have spent 350 on used tires, 120 in brakes and how much in oil changes and a ford recall that costed me 4,650 dollars on my suspension!
And thise same people are now saying acceptance rate matters **cough**cough**pedro**plus others
Sin city delivery too i swear that sin city deliveries is a paid DD shill and so is pedro
Multi apping and dirty stacking is the way to make money! I couldn’t care less about their tiers or if someone thinks they are better than me because they are “platinum”. It’s stupid. I am working to make money, I am not doing charity!
The realest mf comment ever
Cherry 🍒 Tier is perfect ✨✨✨
Cherry picking makes you a contractor but taking every order or EBT makes you an employee of the company. Each order that gets decline should have its base pay raise by the company’s base pay to make it more viable and desirable to the next driver. Customers pay enough in fees and the content they purchase, it is time the companies pay up. People need to also stop taking anything less than $5 as well. $3-4 dollar orders should be treated as add ons not lead ons to your schedule.
In my market, DD starts at $2 base pay and Does raise it with each decline..... 25 Cents!! 2 Bits! Damn quarter!
@@EightiesJames I think that is everyone to be honest. This is why for each decline base pay for the order should go up 2.50 especially if they are adding them in with other better orders or sending them back.
@@Kurogue . Of course, ,,but a pipe dream..
@@EightiesJames Yea definitely that. I have only been doing contracting gig work for about 8-9 months and the people beforehand allowed this clownery to get to this level. Should have never taken any low ball orders PERIOD.
Yeah, but doordash has been sued multiple times according to articles found on the internet stating they steal tips to fabricate basepay. Just google it
Doordash platinum level is a scam! The offer is reduced by half, and the offer is mixed with other small orders with only basic payment to form a so-called big offer. The overall income is more than half of the income of the top Dasher in the same working hours! The platinum treatment on the first day in San Francisco!
DD Came out with the tier System to cover the bad orders to Get drivers to take take trash So they could get in the top tier to get good orders. So driver takes 3 bad orders to get one good order. If it dont make cents you dont make money
I look at it differently I think it’s to get rid of the large group of scammers. Which I’ve noticed this group is less visible
.
I think if I was full-time, I would give it more of a chance that maybe it would even out but unless each individual job is actually worth it I just can’t see you doing that to your car. Or yourself
@@GrandmaKaren-p5b which type of scammers are we talking? I definitely think it’s gonna turn a lot of drivers off and make them stop turning on the app especially if they have a bunch of other apps in their area. But that might (and I’m not saying this is fair just saying what might be) and up resulting in more orders of the decent sort for cherry pickers and or whoever’s left in a given zone.
@@rachmunshine9474 my car can be replaced
The math maths. You can decline or accept 10 straight orders and it is possible to not improve or get worse. Your last 100 matter. If 100,99,98,97 and 96 orders ago were declines it won't change declining 5 straight
I don't know if it's cherry picking for me, but I don't accept orders that want you to drive 6 or more miles for less than $7 or more.
That's not really cherry picking. I'm $7 for 2 miles or less
I mean whether you give it a name or not it’s just being smart…and not accepting seven dollars for six point something miles. I’m right there with ya! ❤ I mean, since everyone else does, I call it cherry picking, taking the ones that make sense to verses to keep AR up, but I’ve seen people (when I used to look on Facebook more) who literally would not consider an offer for less than three or four dollars a mile, depending on which person literally some people won’t take less than four dollars a mile or so they say. I’m not there.. all I can say to that is if it’s true (with the caveat that *and they have ever excepted an offer😂) then I say Gd bless their market because they’re in an unusually good one. The far miles out of my zone are always more than half out of my zone so I would prefer to get two dollars per mi because it’s a round-trip to me. As soon as I see 15.6 miles. I basically think 31.2 miles. (I usually can’t look when driving) And I wouldn’t turn down three or four dollars a mile. But I definitely would not refuse anything below that. And I mean if it’s going a little bit further and it’s $1.50 a mile OK sometimes it goes up. Although I’ve never seen a number for a good distance that I thought was gonna go up. It’s possible they held back a little bit of the tip, but since it’s usually upside down, I highly doubt it. It just seems like they don’t want to show more than X amount per mile. But the only time I ever see it may be because more people between here, and there have priority, but is on very low mile orders… like usually under 4 miles and almost always under six or seven. Almost literally always as it’s very rare there anything 7 miles worth taking. In fact, I think I’ve only taken like three in the past year or so. I’m not usually on Uber eats. 😂
Whereas the closer orders much more often (and always a surprise, except for the short time after they had reset our acceptance rates and so I know what that high pay rewards (or whatever that color banner was called then - now platinum, but with less rewards?) and sometimes with the + and sometimes not with the plus sign or any sign, but it would still go up. Frequently by a couple bucks and it’s a few miles at most. But if they think I would ever take an order that I wouldn’t be OK with already, well, let’s just say they’re wrong. I’m off and just surprised and I can’t say I’ve never hoped it would go up a little just because a few others had that day… but I just tell myself not to think about that and just I’m happy with or at least OK with the stated amount.
I didn’t last long in that program. Surprise surprise. Therefore I can tell you that all the way to about 18% 17% something like that (in the summer I range between 18 and 21 for the most part) my orders frequently go up upon delivery. One of them must’ve done it like either while I was at the restaurant or driving. Walking up to the door but I got the text like one other time that somebody had raised my tip and yet when I confirmed delivery it already had that for tip with that included, and had gone up to that instantly just like any other order with a Hidden tip. I mean it is possible he did it on the way. Weird.
But orders can definitely go up too. But if they think I would ever take an order that I would not take anyway if it didn’t go up, they are very wrong . part-time enough to say that I would see this more if not every day or anything but I’ve had $7.25 for less than a mile turn into 21 and change. I mean I’ve told the same story a bunch of times because it’s probably the highest I’ve ever had on DoorDash. A few years ago that would’ve been the tip alone on Instacart. Now they’re all the two dollar default. In my area anyway. But I’ve done way if you were very low, mileage ones. After my first week or two when They had me running all over creation - until I read a couple of Facebook threads. It did keep you busy because it would send you to stores you’d never go to if you just kept going back to your same hotspot. But it was also a lot more running around on the car and I can’t imagine that long-term being good. Yeah some of us just can’t afford to even take the chance that it would even out right now.
When editing I’m not sure if I added some thing that was already there because it kept starting at the bottom or the top every time I try to go to a different part to fix, and I can only see like 3/4 of an inch at a time writing this or anything it on the stupid phone. So if this is repetitive and stupid, I apologize.
I thought about deleting it until I was more with it and awake, but it can’t hurt the channel. As I have often in the past, I hope that they get points or whatever towards monetization not per comment but per word. 😂
Oh, and my ultimate point was demanding 4for dollars a mile - that I would definitely call cherry picking! 😂
@@larryt510 yeah but if you’re going like 10 miles you don’t expect 350 for every mile do you if you’re bringing like a hamburger? That would be 35 bucks. Or do you just not go past a certain number of mileage below that unless it’s like a big big amount? Nothing wrong with that either.
@@rachmunshine9474 I don't drive 10 miles for anything. I only work within a 5 mile radius around my home area. Most of my deliveries are under 3 miles. I always get more than $2 per mile and usually I get $3-$4 per mile. The further you go the more dead mileage you will incur. It's super important to keep that deadhead mileage down to the bare minimum
Yup. It started with my market in Miami. I quit DoorDash because of it
Hi Kent!!! ❤
i left miami a year ago, did it on the side and the market there is trash for both me and my cousin. over saturated with migrant workers using false accounts and no tippers living in million dollar homes and cars...
The only reason to be in platinum in my area is for flexibility! No scheduling needed!!!! It stinks but sometimes have to do crap!
I havent done a doordash delivery in well over a year now. It is total trash and has been for some time.
Can I tell you something don't listen to other you tubers who gossip about door dash uber eats there only wanting you to pay them to subscribe. Many talk shit ok
What I see is people taking a lot of trash orders
Beats sitting in a 90 degree parking lot for 45 minutes melting waiting on an offer.
Anyone with any sense knows that any new program is for THEIR benefit
I do the orders i want and not the ones i don't want to do
I started this last Saturday AR at 83%. I quit after 2 hours because I got 6 orders less than $3 going 7 miles or more.
The go pro behind the steering wheel covers your face. Also, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I feel like people can't just mind the business that pays them. lol
Ug I was cringing while editing, I won't put it there anymore.
some people end up at the bottom for a reason, others just have bad luck - Im a mix of both but am working on remaining positive and focusing on making better deacons - One positive is it pays my bills, the other is Ive had to stop taking all insulin because I move around so much because my area is very busy........Im truly grateful for that
Im glad someone brought it up. I lost 30lbs and counting. Third floor apts were a challenge when I started and getting easier. I like that its not an aggressive workout
@@catherineflores3724 I'm 60, retired, and now a full time dasher. During the bloat and early days of my retirement sitting at the house (pandemic), I could feel age and fat creeping up on me. Now that I dash full time I feel my mind and body is more interactive, more engaged. I want to contribute to society somehow. We didn't need Doordash 20 years ago, but today I think I make a difference. I feel healthier too. 3rd floor apartments suck, low tip, screaming kids and dogs barking from all adjoining apartments. Most of the time its not a problem. I take my picture and move along. I did it and I want another.
As a delivery driver for over 40 years... you guys wanting 8 out of 10 orders to be unicorns is humorous to say the least. That's NEVER going to happen. No tippers will NEVER stop. Stressing yourself out over it is a waste of time. Do your daily goal as fast as you can and go home. Trash orders included. Welcome to being a delivery driver. Exactly the same as 40 years ago and it'll be the same 40 years from now. Crappy customers is just something you have to deal with. I forget about them in 60 seconds. Got another order to deliver.
make your goal working 12-14 hours days only for it to be taxed heavily at the end of the year plus gas/wear and tear. sounds pretty retarded
Have fun while your driving ten .miles dor 2$ with that crappy papa John's pick up. It must be nice to be a sniveling twerp.
This is true. I get it done and go home but it takes to long to earn any money that's meaningful.
I made hourly plus way better tips with a much smaller delivery area 20 years ago delivering pizza. I always had money and worked wayyyy fewer hours. Now I am basically an unwilling participant in legalized slavery.
The difference is before we could schedule at 3pm even with 7% AR, now if you are not at 50% in a tier you can't schedule at all. You will have to wait until it says it is busy and lets you on. I have moved from DD to Uber Eats and Favor, I make more money and am happier. No schedule needed, just jump on and go.
Nope. I can schedule for the next 5 days. I already have lunches and dinners scheduled for the week.
@@SaraElizabethYT That's great. In my market it must be different. I have done this for 3 years with over 3000 deliveries. Have always been able to schedule no problem, since this update into the tier system I can't get any schedules. Tells me no schedules available. Also in the 3rd tier it says that is one of the privileges you get. So hopefully it continues for you. I don't need the headache so I left to Uber Eats and Favor and like you said, I don't need DD anymore. Keep up the good work.
The schedule comes out at Midnight for those under 50%. In my market, I have to play the tier game. Sunday I did earn by time and did 7 deliveries. AR didn’t increase at all! I'm a. Cherry picker 🍒! Not changing my ar about 13 right now and I make good money 🤑. Love your videos I have learned a lot from you Sara!
I don't trouble myself with tier levels. I could care less what tier I'm on. I also could care less what my acceptance rate is. All I care about is how much money I make in a day after fuel and expenses. I don't pressure myself to make a certain amount , and I don't create any kind of expectation. What I make in a day is what I make in a day. Some days are good and some days are not so good. I take the good with the bad. I cherry pick religiously. It's my business and I'll accept what I want and I'll decline anything I don't want. I keep it simple , I keep it Uber-Eats , and I've been doing it for 6 years.
Do not get accepting reasonable offers mixed up with "cherry-picking". Sanity needs to prevail in the gig industry.
When I listen to this kind of reasoning, I think that people are just having fun... I watch one young blogger, he is so serious and positive, everything is so structured for him and he does not reason in such a way that he is collecting something from the bottom of the barrel, he makes $200 a day and that’s ok for this kind of work
Cherry picking is over I have hi numbers and even this morning I had 6 offers and 4 of those deliveries were $7 and under I have a 92% acceptance rate, 100% completion rate. Think about this if it takes me 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get my first offer with my numbers-. How long does anyone think it would take me to get my first offer if i started cherry picking again. My guess 3 hours. Cherry Picking would just put me at the end of the AI . There are entirely too many many drivers and not enough orders now with more new drivers on the way . Cherry Picking is a good way to waste 5 or 6 hours because the way DoorDash has the AI programmed the Cherry Picking drivers get nothing there are entirely to many drivers waiting for offers at the same time I know I go online it’s absolutely ridiculous
If drivers can cherry pick the best orders,so can the company cherrypick the best drivers
AR goes between 13 and 28. Only reason the tier system sucks for me is the scheduling delay… but that really sucks 😕
Just keep doing what you have to do to survive
I havent turned Doordash on in weeks
I’ve turned it on a couple times in that time and even seen some orders on busier afternoons and dinner time - a couple worth taking if I had been out and about but nothing really worth leaving the house for.
But I do know if I drove past some restaurants versus depending on the ones within a couple miles of me, which are handful but that an opening up Uber eats as well I’m sure I would do better than what it would appear from home. Those were days I was OK with not but if something good came up then I was going to be interested. One night in particular, I would really like to have gotten a couple of decent orders but again nothing so exciting.
Yeah I was a top dasher in Arizona for my first 3 months of dd. Now my ar is 34% ONLY cherry-picking now.
I am curious is the DD tire system pretty much the same all over. If below 50 cherry picking. That you have seen? Under 50 here hard to schedule have to wait tell goes red. Then you get half hour maybe 45 minutes. Longer if needed.
I think it's different depending on the area. Some dashers are able to schedule, others not. The required stats change from market to market. I think they adjust the program based on certain variables, like dasher saturation, average order payout, volume of orders, ect. That's what I gather from watching these videos and reading hundreds of comments.
@@nocturnus6 Believe it or not that is the same thing the rep told me. For me right now the only days I can't schedule in my zone next week is Thursday and Friday as of now but I keep checking.
I cherry picked for the first 3 years or so when i started because basically every youtube videk i watch said that was how you should do it. Then i flipped it and got up to top dasher and never looked back. Im in a small market 24k people. Cherry picking do3s not work. Im currently 93% AR and thing work out so much better.
42% AR and I cannot get on the schedule and our market is saturated, it never goes red anymore.
In other words, Tony Xu works for black rock and they are robbing everything they can. Hence u can find storys of how Tony Xu is talking about stepping down lol... Its not just gig apps but other big corps robbing everything they can from workers. They are running out of time!
I'm Platinum and do great. Last Saturday 8am-1pm I did $300 on Doordash only.
Today I. My market there was to many drivers out and not enough orders coming in. Even with a 99% acceptance rate I still am 10 deliveries short of being platinum again I went 2-1/2 hours this morning with no offers . The finally my phone went off absolutely insane on a Friday morning at 6am is when I started.
tier system is just for getting the $2 orders delivered. thats what its for
I have been below 50% AR and usually close to 60 AR and I see the exact same orders!! Only below 50% they don't say "high paying offer" It's just a bunch of BS to try to make dashers take a lot of orders. The only program that I notice actually works at least in my area is the being preferred for shop and pay orders because I get a lot of them and I like those orders. I even get ones sent to me that are from like over 10 miles away, which I don't usually take unless they are worth the money.
I have the tier system and wow very hard to climb. I was at one time a little above 70. I dropped to 61. Very very hard to climb back up. It has taken me 2 weeks to get to 63 on EBT. Taking every order. This is nuts.
I sit in the Walmart parking lot and make DD GH and UE play against the Spark order I get every hour. If they don’t compete I just take the Spark order. I usually take 3 Spark orders in 9 hours so something is working. I save those $5 7 mile orders for those Platinum drivers you know they love keeping that acceptance rate up. Acceptance rate didn’t do Pedro DD Santiago any good!
Oh no if I decline one it definitely affects AR and then takes several to get it back up even ONE point!!!!
Its a lil difference for me. Went from 70 to 75... to 75 to 80 now. Seeing the same 7 buck 2 mile orders. And my average 2 to 5 cater/lop orders a day. That and shopping keeps me at 30 to 50 a hr easy.
That’s what you are suppose to do lol. I’ve been dashing for 3 years, and I almost hit 6figures doing it. You are suppose to accept the best orders only, you aren’t suppose to be driving around burning gas for a $2 order. You have to know what you are doing. My rate always above 75 and up. But everybody’s city is different
the big thing with the tier system is that if you arent 70% or above you wont get l.o.p. or even see them.
Thats why I use other apps that are all about large orders
She says I'm done with Doordash as she doordashing. 😂
I've got a 95 percent acceptance rate. I'm just trying to get 10 dashes a day but it's kind of hard where I live. The priority system isn't actually prioritizing. Tbf tho I've made 179 this week which is more than usual for me.
Uber Eats is way better in my market. Door dash is horrible. I cherry pick all day!
There is this area I will not dash in..once you accept an order in that area, you will get bombarded with Pizza Hut $2 dollar orders. I havent dashed in days..went on an interview that is salary..fingers 🤞
I was a top dasher for 3 months and then the tier program came out in March. I was under 20% acceptance by end of April. Now I’m currently at 10% but been as low as 0%.
Tier program = Scam
Maybe I’ll try again come winter time when they have $3 peak pay consistently, unless they get rid of peak pay altogether by then with $1 base pay 🤣
Each market is radically different, in my market doordash is useless. It's over saturated with drivers and not enough orders, so 90% of the time you can't Dash, whilst today I made $110 in 4 hours on UE, it was non stop orders and my market is small city $$$ at best market.
I've noticed that too homie!! I declined 2 orders and my percent never moved! Also I think double stacking orders still should be two orders..
You’re forgetting that the percentage rate is on a 100 order rotating score. So if u have 200 deliveries and the first 100 delivery’s were more declines and your accepting more now it wipes away the declines helping to raise your rate. Read it in the app. So 105 deliveries will delete your first 5. So if you accepted the first 5 orders then declined orders 100-105 that’s how your rate drops. Hope that makes sense. Also the platinum drivers coming from being top dasher had a lot stricter rules and had to have 90% acceptance 200 orders a month or whatever so they had to keep accepting but most likely were never getting orders to even need to cherry pick. I would imagine a top dasher/ platinum driver not even being offered crap orders anyways. Now maybe they are. Have you got a pizza bag or gone in to do alcohol deliveries on the app yet. Those are always high pay orders. I just. Started them last week. I’m frustrated also tho. My acceptance rate was over 75 until I hit 160 ish orders and would take me declining several before dropping 1% now if I decline I drop automatic. It’s hard to understand the 100 order roll over and now I’m at 66% and I keep getting stuff saying raise your acceptance rate to 70% to move to gold tier. The rest of my scores are all gold tier but the acceptance. I never tried for top dasher or silver. When it switched to the tier my states just ended up putting me as a silver driver. I want to have Dash Now at all times. lol otherwise I don’t even care. I’m not accepting any orders under $5 and none that don’t pay 1$ a mile for up to 5 miles and $2 per mile from 5 miles and up. Not worth it. Love watching ur videos ! Oh and have you dashed Riverview area ? It pays way more than Brandon people do. Just saying. Brandon has the most NO TIPPIN FOOLS. DOORDASH IS NOT FOR POOR PEOPLE. PERIOD. IT DOESNT MAKE A HILL OF BEANS TO ME IF YOU GET YOUR DUNKIN OR STARBUCKS EITHER. GET OFF YOUR BUTT GET IT YIURSELF. THATS HOW I FEEL TOWARDS THEM. ANYWHO. IM GONNA DOWNLOAD UNER EARS SND A FEW OTHERS I FOYND IN THE APP STORE THAT I NEVER NEW EXISTED.
Ya I know some who got a catering order at 2 percent
It’s just really really bad and gotten worse now…
Cherry picking = taking orders that make cents 😂
I see high paying order acceptance rate is 10 to 15%
Why are you so confused about them cherry picking? Other drivers are finally realizing that cherry picking is the best tier! I'm 15%, and I get banger orders on DD
It's the ones that have high ratings and are treating low rating Dashers like we're poor trash. We all use the same strategy!
@SaraElizabethYT gotcha! But like you said Liz , maybe you don't need DD anymore since UE is treating you much better! The daily grind is a struggle nowadays! Thanks for the reply 🙏
Are you seeing more shopped orders on Uber Eats because of the Uber Instacart partnership and your market?
Finally a real doordasher acceptance rates right around the same as mine
I'm spending more money on gas to stay in platinum even doing 2$ orders with no tip
Well we shall see how summer goes I mean some time if I drop to gold I can’t get a schedule
this young lady is smart. you have to sign up for multiple apps and cherry pick. that's it! you are independent. they do not make these programs for your benefit, the programs are for their benefit so they can get their crappy orders delivered.
Not sure which TopDasher's you ran into,,,,
My AR has been AVG 95% for the last 2 months.. After watching multiple video on Dashing..
DD finally started giving me Large Orders that, possibly, are due to the AR.. Not Sure...
Been a TopDasher for 4 years and have always had DashNOW,,, So the DashNOW is at this
point the most important asset... Waiting for Tier/Rewards to hit the Denver, CO Market...
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I CANCELED MY DD DRIVER APP
Yeah I think it’s a scam. I’m in silver tier but it’s hard staying in it because so much trash comes through but cherry picking wasn’t working either but it’s probably just the Summer Slowdown combined with the saturation due to a crap economy.
Ya its a racket it starts over every day so your constantly chasing the 100 orders to be platinum/ top dasher its bs
I think I'm a little late to put in my vote for what you want to call the bottom tier. My suggestion is the "cherry fields" because that's where the cherry pickers are. 💜💛
Platinum or rarely allowed to get on in my crap town
All the tier things are scams and ar doesnt matter at all. Just do Uber Eats and decline all bad orders.
uber eats is saying my car is too old
It's a big difference between platinum, gold, and silver. Obviously 😂
The tire system will make you cry
No disrespect to you. You seem honest and hard worker. But if you have not been in the tiers snd had a high AR, then you have no knowledge if it personally cause you have never experienced it. Knowledge as far as picking orders. Your pro, you know your market, you know yhe game you know the app. But having a high AR is a totally different game. Better or worse doesn't matter. It involves strategy. Timely pausing your app in bad areas. Running outisde of zone and taking s backroad to another side of the zone to avoid bad areas. Taking side streets to avoid traffic. Cause we dont have the luxury of just declining orders cause if weather or traffic or miles or bad neighborhood.
Saturated everywhere I can’t get on either
Sara cut it out nobody cares about those losers - you are hot and making money and they broke so of course they going to hate on you.
Some of these dashers out here are just out to get content to put on TH-cam.
Sure you can call us Cherry Picker Tiers. But you can also call us SMART cherry pickers
Everything DoorDash does is a scam
How do I start selling merch? I gotta have a certain subscribers.
yep
I cherry pick all day
I thought it was a scam back in 2021...lol
Lul.. listen. We're always 3rd class at best. At best. We're patsys. If you think you're better, we're not.
I like your videos
Thanks!
Hi, I got GoPro 12
Hey Lady . " Hee Hee Hee , it wasn't me " ! Another good reason why I don't have my own podcast . I don't live in a metropolis area so I do what I can with what I got / get . Plus , if this back of mine doesn't heal quicker , I may just have to stop this mess all together . Alright , Y'all take care of Y'all .
You're complaining about something that you're also doing?😂😂😂😂
