Seeing the logging operation just makes you appreciate how hard the early settlers must have worked. To clear so much land by hand in such a short period of time was incredible.
Smart tups Andrew. I stay 10 miles from another Glen Affric, but on the other side of the world in Scotland. Some of my partner's ancestors were shepherds in Affric in the 1800's and were recruited to go over to New Zealand. Small world.
Great rams,my brother uses then to get early lambs, selling lambs in early November and gets great money averaging around $230/&220.But he lambs in June
@Kiwi Farmer Matamata, alot earlier country then yours, plus by been early lambing doesn't have your lambing percentage, it's all a balancing act for different areas. But Suffolk cross lambs come easily,a bit smaller, but explode.I great choice
Great length and power to those rams will definitely do the job for you. Are the crossbreds out of them ever used for breeding in new Zealand. Here in Ireland most sheep are crossbred Suffolk being the most dominate on lowland flocks. Nothing grows better than a Suffolk texel cross.
Mate along with the worm and mineral drench I should of given you some of my herbal ignite pills and ginseng powder for your rams lol. Just to make sure the boys are up to the job lol
Beautiful rams brother. I am enjoying your videos. Thank you for posting. Ram from India 🇮🇳

Yep we have it very easy these days in comparison.
Great 👍 job nice looking rams 🐏 👌 👏
The black face bucks look like Suffolk hamp cross we would call them in the states and the cinnamon colored bucks look like shropshires.
Picking rams up at the mainpower stadium and then taking them to Mc Donalds, wow. Great video, thanks
Thanks Harry.
Great tops on them rams ,you’ll have some cracking lambs across them white ewes

Not really used for meternal breeding in NZ as they would produce a ewe which is to big. Therefore the ewe efficiency is reduced.
Hey Alistair does the electric wire on the fence ever earth out on the plant matter that seems to be touching it
Yes it does effect the fences. I need to keep the gorse off the fences especially.
Who let the ram's out, 🐑🐏.
