This happens all the time in paleontology, most allosaurus fossils Found are juveniles and show signs of growing, the odds are surviving to full length during its time would be extremely rare and we likely have never seen a truly “adult” allosaurus.
Spinosaurus wins 90% of the time.. Allosaurus is more of a lean and athletic animal that requires at least 3-4 pack members in order to have a good chance in taking down large game. One swipe from Spino's claws or once it's bitten, the Allo is done for.
