In this game, Clark set two WNBA records, not for a rookie, but for the entire WNBA. She scored or assisted on 66 points beating Deanna Taurasi's record from back in 2006 or 2008 I believe, and she dished out 19 assists, beating Courtney vandersloot's record from 2018.

Come on folks. There is way too much hype on both sides of this conflict. Kaitlyn Clark turned into a world-class basketball player, but she had a rough start. This is to be expected adjustment to the pro game. The media and all the social media did not do her any favors by Hyping every little move down to tying her shoe strings. When the Olympic team was picked she was still adjusting to the game. She is going to be a great one and there will be plenty of time for her to be on the Olympic team. Instead we have a circus building resentment on all sides.
