I didn't request Soon though I love it, because I felt it would be too emotional.💔My dear Dad had Alzheimers. He was a brilliant surgeon, family physician, brought hundreds of babies into the world, past his board exams at 79 just to prove he could though he knew he'd be retiring. It was heartbreaking. Miss you Dad, find Gary's Dad Jack tell him about your pheasant.
Thank you for posting this, Fallen Empires is my favorite album and FINALLY I get to hear an acoustic version of The Symphony!!!! Wish I would have seen these when they were broadcast live, but thank goodness for Gary for sharing his music.

These are so beautiful, this is when I had Coronavirus and I was either in hospital or I fell asleep...no reflection of course on Gary it was involuntary sleepiness. So grateful for all these, so funny-I can't hear anything 👍👍if Natalie needs a vacation I volunteer.

When he's all alone, far from home, missing his family more than ever, I can't imagine how difficult that must be. I kind of wished people would stop asking for the song, out of compassion for him. Man. Those final verses ... my heart broke for him.

For such a music obsessive...im so woefully illiterate, but i feel like they have a similarity melodically? ..if i was to make a guess, i think they both have a lot of chord tension and a dramatic switch from major to minor scale ...🤷♂️? but im probs a million miles away and its always cringe speaking to real people about these things lol (...as do i think my other two faves, Spitting Games and SwaCiT)

This version of Soon was really powerful. It's definitely a standout song from the last album. Great to some of the older songs too like Wow.
