In October of 2023, Meg (my sister) and I took off on one of the craziest journeys we have ever done together - The Rebelle Rally. We had no idea what we were getting into, as it is a totally different world than what we are use to. We camped for 8 days, were totally out of communication with the rest of the world, and competed with some great competitors. We traveled over 2,100 KM and didn't have too many issues (and we made it without any major fights! 😂) Check out the recap of our journey!

What a great experience for you and your sister. I guess navigating was the only hard part. The off-road roads were in nice shape and you were in a Jeep so the actual off-road sections were easy too. Self camping is normal camping, it’s about time y’all got around to camping and the fun that is involved with it. I’ll bet your sister was happy that she was able to go with you.
Alex, your video quality has taken a major change into the professional side! You are beginning to show more of your passions, which is good to see. Your body language is more relaxed and confident than 2 years ago. I hope you are balancing your downtime with your adventures, as burnout will destroy the fun. It is also good to see you are finding safe events to adventure through. You have done a great job of telling a story and showing the process of a build. As you know, building a car is the fun part and debugging issues is the headache, but the relationships in the downtime is what matters. You have done a great job to not show the bad scenes from the pit, where emotions, perfectionism, and competition meets reality! Overall, you have improved in great strides! Good luck with your adventures!

Being Canadian, growing up playing hockey some players had taken figure skating. Being young laughed, but playing games. They were faster, more stable.
Learning is great, but to love a passion is true.

Followed your off-road challenge from the Rebelle site. I was amazed by how long it took, (at times), to travel from one waypoint to the next. (Would be not as fun, if it was quick and easy navigation). Way to complete the rally. 🏆

Hard to tell who is older you or your sister...Have you alway got along so good..me and my brother were a year and a day apart and used to fight allot when younger....
i spend alot of time out there, lots of cool stuff to see, the pinnacles was used for mars in one of the planet of the apes
I think this video could have been a lot longer, but I guess ya can’t put everything in there. Looked like a lot of fun though.
We weren’t allowed to have our phones during this. We had to rely on the rally’s media team to capture this. Hence, why there isn’t a lot of coverage.

Looks like a fun time. I had to laugh at the thought of younger people being without their phones for a week. How many times did you reach for your phone out of muscle memory? Just ribbing you since I remember when car phones mounted in the car was a thing, haha.

Poor kids nowadays are lost without a phone and GPS. I remember traveling 2600 miles across country with just compass and a map.
You said you ran out of gas once, why didn't you use the 22 miles of electric range that the Rubicon 4XE comes with?

That’s how rally does it 🤗 Not saying that’s how I measure.
Fix that video thumbnail. We use freedom units in the US.
While I also prefer those units, that is not what the rally uses, which is why I will be leaving it for this 🙂
