Nintendo GAMECUBE teardown

Hey folks, welcome back to my channel!
Today, I would like to tear down the Nintendo Game Cube from 2001. Why? I purchase the NGC on Ebay to add the CPU and GPU to my fast-growing processor collection. In order to do this, I need to open the console and work myself to the mainboard of the NGC, followed by heat gun removal of the chips from the motherboard. If you have something similar in mind, do not forget to buy the special Nintendo tool kit as some screws have special or proprietary designs…
The NGC was introduced in late 2001 and is the successor of the Nintendo N64 and it is the predecessor of the famous Wii.
The CPU is a 64-bit RISC processor from IBM produced at 180nm CMOS featuring 64kB L1 and 256kB L2 cache but is down-tuned to 32-bit. The CPU is called “Gekko” and is a PowerPC generation G3 architecture processor with 21 million transistors and running at 485MHz (PowerPC750CXe).
The GPU “Flipper” is produced by NEC and is derived from ATI´s Rage 5 architecture performing at 8GFLOPS with 16MB cache and 51 million transistors at 162MHz.
