Here’s the funny thing, when I was playing Ranked and won 10 times in a row, I got reported by so many players that I was later permanently branded a red name in all servers I enter. And get this, I became a red name because the cheap players I beat reported me for beating them over and over again

I’m not gonna lie I main hit and I gotta say this is correct when I fight other hits and it makes me question my existence
Some of my friends that “main” Hit say that he is not broken and that he is one of the worst characters in the game meanwhile they take away one whole health bar by using one jump time skip.

I meet some people who are new and actually learning well without being influenced by spammers and infinite combos. I would say Im decently new as well but when I started online I went straight to finding supers that went well with my CACs combos. Tho I will admit it is quite tempting not to put finishing blow on every character for that sweet combo continue and break.

I remember meeting a cheap guy recently. He was actually fairly decent, easily beating me and my buddy with skill, but the second I beat him one time he switched to a male earthing, ki stun/cancel, XY spam, and using nothing but really good moves.
I myself only use moves I find aesthetically pleasing. If it happens to be relatively good like X10 Kamehameha, it's only because I like how it looks, better example, Raid Blast, awesome move, no damage. Sledgehammer, basic bitch looking move, full health bar of damage

Ive noticed its easier to escape grab moves if u do a regular dash. For some reason when u dash vanish it treats ur hitbox as if its in the place it was last for a moment

I lost my first ranked match due to cheese, then lost my second fair and square because my second opponent actually had skill. Thinking about my first match made me realize playing ranked matches isn't worth it.
I clapped every chesse player i fought i got hate messages after the fights i kick them then they send me a hate message xenoverse 2 daily life for me : D

If there isn't already, there should be a new evasive added that is similar to Super Front/Back Jump but meant to SPECIFICALLY counter grab spam. It would be 1 stamina bar, work like Super Jump and can control whether to go forward or back but the trade-off is less range however it can be used to escape grabs. Now obviously it doesn't make you immune to grabs since your stamina will eventually hit zero and people will naturally abuse it beyond just to escape grabs so it could be tweaked to be a bit more balanced. Maybe instead of stamina it would be a super and cost 3 bars of Ki? That way you could charge it and have it more readily available...but then people would spam it... Oh! Or make it a pose that makes you immune to grabs for say...15-20 secs. It's only buff is grab immunity and the trade-off will be that it is the longest pose animation to complete in order to reduce spamming it and it can't be refreshed while already active and has a cool down period of 8 seconds before it can be used again. That's about my best shot. Just my rough draft of an idea because grab cheese is one of the worse, if not the worst. It can't be blocked, takes no resources, has tracking, takes no skill. Players that could definitely win in a fair fight will lose to this, we've all seen it happen.

I often watched steedoj’s videos for it’s gameplay.
I mean the way he masters quite a lot techniques (the old supreme kai is actually giving them as tutorial at the beginning of xv2).
So the point is on the community.
I can’t agree fully for 3 main reasons :
- the first and most important: the game is not flawless and that’s a critic made to the devs.
It’s actually very far from being flawless and there’s quite and issue with crossplay as well. A few flaws : you cannot cancel an ultimate launched after, well watching the anime or reasing the manga it has been done more than once. And sometimes an ultimate acts as an immunity to a full blown strike (especially another ultimate)...
- the second : current era is paid dlc oriented, the issue with it is that the game fully looses its balancing as the time - and money - flows.. the devs and product ownership knows it since they released at least one free dlc... come on be serious for a minute : it was released not only to attract and retain the community but also to reequilibrate the game...
- the third : playable characters in a fighting game should not be a DLC, especially on a franchise such as DB, DBK, DBZ or DBS. That’s why modders got in and then banned. That’s again a critic made to the product ownership not to the community itself. Most elder players will refer to taikenchi and budokai, there’s a lot of good reasons to this. Another famous fighting game made the very same error and got heavily criticized for this reason : look at capcom’s steet fighters’ franchise.
Other issues I noticed or experienced:
- paid dlc is somehow encouraged yet being unfair to baseline xv2 players so the assumed strategy incorporates pay to win
- no need to go to a pvp to understand it, a single online quest shows it, online events shows it perfectly (cheese and cheese gaps are insane)
- connectivity and cross platform play made me wonder on servers and network balancing parity :) I assume that it either unequal or of different quality
- some bugs are easily noticeable even in solo : level cap issue (more than 30 quests won and no lvl up yet there’s room for it)
- ranking itself encourages cheese : mo cheese mo ranks. And we know cheese is sliced over time to get served.

I play with 2 guys who hold 3v3's for fun, they don't do cheese and we always wait for our team mates to finish their fight rather than team up, but when we run into players who play cheap like this it's a different story, I'm not the best player nor am I good by any means but those 2 guys I play with remind me that there are still some good players in the community

I wanted and tried to get into this game, when I was younger I dreamed of playing as a dragon ball character and fighting other people with a custom character, but little did I know....
Now I just play striker, at least you can counter cheese properly in that game. And at least it's not a laggy mess and there's 4 PEOPLE PER TEAM... WTF BANDAI, WHY YOU SLACK ON XENOVERSE SO MUCH. 8 people matches with giant frogs n shit and this game can barely handle someone pushing the x button.

And he brought up meta after me saying there are other moves to use. I know I don't play Xv2 online but if you wanna consider cheese meta sure it's not enjoyable tho lol

I would say im pretty new and the only things I've really died to so far is like infinite combos. I play the earthling ki build with EDB as my main but I use Saturday crash to setup for EDB or crazy finger finishers. I do love the earthling combos and also love finishing blow combo continues as well as crazy finger continues. Galick gun is my knock back super of choice cuz I keep the purple aesthetic. Cant say im that good though cuz I suck at just guards and z vanishes. I also like majin kaioken strike build. Assault into dragon fist is awesome. Also if I had to pick a non CAC, all I really learned how to play with so far is Videl and Pan. Guess I just got a thing for fast females wit crazy combos.

I don't even play Xenoverse 2 PvP. I played like two matches and then just stopped. Mostly because of the lag and delay of my moves and not feeling the PvP.

In my opinion, I think that the 3 bar Majin has to be one of the bigger offenders out there. I haven't been doing enough online matches to pick something else like those who shoot a ki blast and move away, but 3 bar Majin hurts me a lot considering I like the one I made

I was actually considering getting the game for such a long time! I used to have a blast playing with my friends! But after watching enough of your videos, for even what little time I’ve spent watching them, I know my $100+ I’ll spend getting all the DLC would not do anything for my online experience.

i think something that will make the cheese not as cancerous (still is gonna be cheep tho) is an improvement to netcode, bc i constantly lose to 1 of 3 things 1.extreme lag (I'm in Australia so playing against ppl who are from uk or us servers is just pure pain if anything) 2. cheap bs such as this bs shown in this video 3. i lose fair and square to someone who is better than me, in my 3 years that I've played xv2 i've lost very few times to ppl who were genuinely better. once in a month usually. long story short is the developers need to help the community be better in xv3 (if they ever manage to release it)

I'm quite new to xenoverse 2, only started playing about 2 weeks ago, only around 120 hours invested. I feel a little confident in my skill since I usually only use my Cac, though I sometimes use dlc characters in quests when i keep getting my ass beat while using my Cac. I rarely use dlcs in player matches and when I do, it's not the over powered ones. Examples include Majuub, Bojack, Paikuhan and so on.
About 2-3 days ago though I ran into one of the more toxic players.
I entered into a player match and chose my Cac as usual, and he picked DBS broly.
I thought it wasn't going to be too big of a deal but low and behold the fucker did nothing but spam grab, similar to in the video, he also spammed that one strike skill broly has

Oh how I wanted to use Ui Goku or some other cheese but "Fighting Toxicity with Toxicity only causes more Toxicity" so I chose my Cac yet again, but a different preset

I don't know if the lag switchers can make their Internet worse in purpose, but I just have bad connection and it's hard to play Xenoverse like that, because I lose all the time. :(
But yeah, sometimes the cheesy players can't be helped: one time I just found a player that when I stamina breaked him (I don't know why after the stamina break he could be able to move around) he just spammed perfect defense, and how am I going to hit him with my Internet? Jeez.

I wonder if the people that do cheese the hell out of broken characters actually feel kinda bad for themselves since thats all they have to work against better players. I highly doubt it but they know what they are doing, and I genuinely hope they feel bad for it.

Buddy, have you never met a trunks grab spammer? He’s got a free stamina break if you throw your opponent at the top of the map and then fly up to them and then do a heavy break.

I was once in a 2v2, I had the bot as teammate, and they would double team me as soon as they killed the bot and say Im bad at the game. Then when I kill one of them for a 1v1, they use auto revive gauge and double team me again
What’s worse is then they trash talk you after only beating you with cheese.
Out of these two dlc player which pack should I buy I say two characters because I want to main them so Uub or Super Baby 2 who should I get
I only have the one with super baby 2, but I wanna get the one with kid uub, but super baby 2's ultimate "Revenge Death Ball" does INSANE amounts of damage, fully charged it does around 2 bars of health, but other then that I dunno much else
