I still like DBXV2 I still play it occasionally. The games issues though are insane for any for of online play. You’d think a game based around a big RPG element with a decent combat system in a series based around fighting you’d think it would have a significantly better connections and servers.

I feel u steed when u hit someone first and they somehow hit u and ur stun animation is longer than there's and they get free hits off of you...its the worst. I fought a custom cooler player a week ago and I'm hitting him constantly and the hits don't work, he/she even messed up a combo( coolers light, heavy, light) and still got me which left me stuck in a fall animation and proceeds to combo me with ki blast cannon.

I've always experienced this in matches to where I'll still be beaten by a guy spamming backhits with a male saiyan cac because his internet allows his punches to bend reality to where it can hit me 7 feet away and get half of a combo in before I fall out of it

Train and hone your Xv2 skills and gaming combat knowledge for years only to realize your opponent disconnects from your combos, somehow turn invisible or 'teleport' while magically decimating your health bars within seconds and your hits not landing. I consider that to be baffling.

I still enjoy playing xenoverse but me and my brother just do the parallel quests together. I sometimes hop onto pvp but now I’ve stopped entirely due to how bad the lag can get against the opponent and it’s just a terrible experience nowadays.
I keep running into GODS who can step out of EVERYTHING but the second i step i get hit from 6 miles away or i flat out get hit BEFORE I can even step despite ki canceling. Like my ki cancel doesn't even come out
I just started in the pvp mode for this game and something that already bugs me is how many people z vanish spam and or block spam. Also a handfull of my matches people have terrible connection, like them straight up teleporting and hitting me from across the map. I dont think im crazy good at the pvp aspect but I have a strong feeling if it was more balanced in the aspects I mentioned I would have a fair chance of winning.

I'm surprised I don't see more people abuse Wild Hunt. Maybe they don't realize you can use it after ANY kind of knockback that has equal or faster recovery to the standard X-Y of male Saiyans, not just after a knock back resulting from normal attack combos. Unsurprisingly the game stupidly considers the last hit of Wild Hunt to also be such a knock back.
They need to rebuff backhits. Nerfing them by itself was already a stupid idea, what made them think THAT was a good idea? I genuinely wanna know, what was the thought process? It didn’t DO anything, it just took away an option for players to get creative. That didn’t balance the game if that’s what they were going for. Nevermind the fact the skill ceiling was never that high to begin with.

Fought a bunch of laggy guys today, one of them just picked Gogeta Blue, all 5 fights we had, and he didn't even know how to play but still managed to block/dodge out of mid combos somehow... Also, me hitting attacks got so delayed i thought i missed so i stopped attacking and then the opponent got a free recovery... Edit: all the laggy guys just happened to spam ki cancel too so ya...
It cancels out an animation that would normally keep you in place and open during a combo or certain animatios, pretty much a free get outta jail card by pressing a button. It's not entirely the worst thing but some people depend on it like they need to mash it just to move. Practically needing to be untouchable to play the game at times
As @PattyGames mentioned, its also even worse on characters that are super quick and have less frames on their moves (hit, gohan, bardock, and of course the OG of I Frames Male Earthling.)
