Pioneer SA-5500 II overview -
Let’s Chat about what’s going on - because I have no idea 🤣😂 About an hour ago, the right channel would play even though volume was at 0 on all inputs - both channels would normalize around 2.5 and play together. Then whatever spirit was possessing the circuitry (because that’s my only explanation) got up and left and now it works normally - both channels working together for the common good.
We removed all the knobs - and cleaned them and the faceplate up with some Peak. We have also cleaned the Pots - no static or issues there.
The speaker A button is missing and the face has a faint scratch around the headphone port - other than that it’s clean - the Circuit board looks good no weird aberrations or abnormalities to report.
I don’t know maybe someone with way more experience than me can prophesy on what’s going on with this unit.
