This card has a devil reference with many sixes (6 black pips for cost, 6 power and 6 toughness, six on written form, 6 orbs around the demon, the demon also has 6 eyes, 6 fingers in each hand, 6 horns).

Tbh just second ability alone, made him super worthy for reanimation. Drop him to yard on turn 2 then reanimated him for extra drawing each turn is banana
As far as reanimator goes 1 draw per turn is not very notable TBH
if you are gonna go the reanimate route. grislebrand is preferable.

After getting it out with K'rikk, cast sacrifice (pay 2 life) and cast Shared Trauma (pay 2 life) using the 6 mana to make everyone mill the last 6, pass turn everyone loses

@@roberthastings5969 it mills 10 and costs 5 mana and 4 life, which is one mana less than shared trauma.
This also means a wider variety of fast mana combinations can be used to achieve the combo, allowing for more consistency.

@@Juggalo4kun cards are usually not considered legal. You may have rule 0 acceptance from your table though, but official rules disallow silver and gold border cards. Usually only white and black borders are legal
Slime Against Humanity with Doomsday Excruciator would be an unlikely but hillarious way to make some 100/100 drops
It exiles face-down though, so I'm not sure if the exiled slimes would get counted?

See thats what im saying, this reminds me of the MtG i grew up with. My buddy is bellyaching "whaaaaaa horror in my high fantasy" and I'm like, when did you start playing? Bloomburrow was cute and had some fun synergies, but to me, especially based off the previews so far, the art on a lot of cards in this ser give me very old school vibes, and I'm here for it

This guy is the mill savior for when your opponents just don't want to go down. Ok, I only have to mill 24 more?
Altar of Dementia on the battlefield when you successfully cast this takes out the biggest threat. In an Endrek Sahr deck, that's two opponents not including any other creatures you probably have available to mill the third.

luckily for black they have either the 5 color Omnath (he converts all floating mana into black mana)
and black market (when creature dies get a token. start of upkeep you get that much black mana)
so outside the explained quisk start, there is room for some more casual tables to get this off a bit easier than 6 swamps
I imagine in your research you missed the split mana cost cards from shadowmoor/eventide such as Deus of Calamity and Godhead of Awe. These symbols still count for devotion just fine.
But it's a more flexible cost which is what I think they're getting at.
I really like this card. In constructed this is 18 damage assuming you get to swing with it 3 times. Also if your opponent isn't close winning they probably just can't anymore if you don't deck yourself. If you play this during your turn and immediately get rid of it your opponent will deck out first. If you get one upkeep trigger then get rid of it, you will deck out first but not if you have a single noxious revival effect. If you have a hive mind and cast this, you will deck out last. There are a lot of weird combo's that you can do with this depending on what your yard looks like. I like this in cedh because it's a 6 mana card that prevents everyone else from winning if they aren't sitting on combo in hand, ad nauseum will always be a better gameplan tho. Also if your opponent scry's a six to the bottom this auto decks them out.
Play this in black green for quick mana ramp and search for swamps, then play this and Underrealm Lich, which prevents you from loosing the game by having no library, since it replaced your card draw with another action, that does not trigger losing rule
Play it with a way to shuffle your GY back into your library... most will still be in exile, but can still get yourself ahead of the draw curve.
You could also use it in combination with anything that lets you skip drawing... or just mill your opponent for 6 after playing this.
The reason for the hextuple black is so that it’s more difficult to play alongside blue mill spells. Still plenty possible, of course, thanks to multicolored lands, though.
When i finally spring on a gilded foil Raffine, this is definitely going into it as part pf my win con. Probably also need to work one into the mothman. But this is gonna be a interesting piece of tech when I build Raffine stax.

Also, it's still a 6/6 for 6 that draws a card on your turn. Seems good in a pinch.
I played Primalcrux back in Alara Standard along with Spitting Image to copy it over and over with its Retrace ability.

Potentially best new 2 card combos to tie the game? Timetwister, Wheel, and many others like Day's Undoing work. My favorite win is with old jank rare Wheel and Deal.

Isn’t there a planeswalker that can deck your opponents out using this?
In standard I use a Mono Black Mill deck that exiles my own cards to deck out my opponent.
So mill yourself to near death, cast this, and a card that shuffles your graveyard back into your deck.
That would not work since you are exiling your library

To be fair, "enters" is only really used in combination with "the battlefield" so it's just text box shortening.

This seems to be insane with ulamog. Cast this, then ulamog defiler? Guaranteed to hit some giant shit in exile , especially since ulamog can see your exiled eldrazis.

So heres how we do this ladies and gentlemen we play dark ritual to then cast cabal ritual. Use the 4 mana to play krrk son of yawgmoth. Using his ability to pay 12 lifw to cast this card. You exile all but 6 cards. You then pay anotber 14 life to cast breach the multiverse. Game set and match.
Might throw this in my ninjutsu deck to get the card draw and just have a large creature

Better than Altar of Dementia is Forced Fruition, as your opponents can no longer cast spells, while you can.
Couldnt you just cast this and then wheel lol, with any of the many cards where you either dont lose from drawing from empty library or cards that let you skip draw/replace draw

So you just Mill yourself before you use this card make sure you have a mortality shift or into the tombs that way you can never draw yourself out and you win
