Yes.. I went St John Island & Kusu Island last weekend, and we walked over to Lazarus Island from St John Island. I would called it "overseas" trip... literally going over the sea to the lslands.. lol...
Im looking at the VTL to visit Singapore - so like your family visiting you. Its quite involved but works if they stay with you and possibly more awkward if they stay in a hotel. The issue for a holiday is booking hotels etc in advance to get cheaper rates but only being able to apply for a VTP 30 days in advance. We are looking for May next year and kinda hope things get a bit more flexible at or just after Christmas. That all depends on getting the peak of UK cases down so we can stay on the VTL.
We went cycling around Pulau Ubin after catching a ferry there. It would make a great video. Also catching the cable car rides on Sentosa and across to Mt Faber.
Unfortunately at the moment there is a pilgrimage so you cannot go on normal boat. You must go on special boat. Check out our Instagram I got some nice drone shots of kusu
If you want a staycation in Singapore where it is quiet & surrounded by nature, then try Villa Samadhi (a colonial style bungalow) which is near Labrador park in the west coast.
Maybe travelling or just exploring those kind of places try to remember to travel with prepared snack bars or nuts and fruit for these chances their are no food where you go next time

Yeah, it might be best to wait till after Christmas like you say. It's a step in the right direction, but still not easy
@@RobandJenny Just a VTL change…you can now apply 60days in advance so much more flexible now

That does look like a decent beach….do you see the shipping lanes or are they disguised/blocked from view
You can see some ships but the view is more blocked and mostly you're looking at the fancy boats Moored at the beach ☺️
Lazarus beach....nice! Thanks.
So nice there! Have you been?
Hope to do so some day :)
