Now, at 49, I have realized that I should have listened to my parents and taken my time to grow up, to enjoy life as it came along, building my career, getting something for myself before tying myself down for the rest of my life. I can't go back, but hopefully I can instill this in my own children, especially my daughters.

When I was eight, I used to play GTA SA with my dad. I didn't understand what was happening, but It really made me happy to play it. My dad passed away in 2019, and after a whole decade, I started playing GTA again. It was such an explosion of buried memories and emotions... 80's 🙂I'm remembering the feelings I had when this song came out. I thought we'd stay young forever. I truly thought time was on our side. Sadly it's not, but when I hear songs from the 80's it's like time travel. You can almost feel like your back there again. The things you did, the thoughts, the feelings....They all come rushing back in. I'm always telling my children, enjoy being a kid because you only have a few years to be one. Once that's over you have the rest of your life to be an adult. Perhaps that's why childhood is so precious to everyone, because it doesn't last forever.

The game's dedicated modding community has probably done a way better remaster for the game than Rockstar would be capable of, simply due to how many hobbyist and fans are working on the mods. Multiple graphics enhancement mods are available for the Steam version of the game and they all look amazing. There's even a mod that restores the sky to its glorious original PS2 colors. There's a downgrader tool that reverts the game to a previous version, removing the shitty update that removed 17 songs from the game and screwed up everyone's save files. I highly recommend checking out the Steam version of the game and all of the mods available for it. I've personally been emulating the PS2 version at 4x native resolution, reliving the glory days.

80's 🙂I'm remembering the feelings I had when this song came out. I thought we'd stay young forever. I truly thought time was on our side. Sadly it's not, but when I hear songs from the 80's it's like time travel. You can almost feel like your back there again. The things you did, the thoughts, the feelings....They all come rushing back in. I'm always telling my children, enjoy being a kid because you only have a few years to be one. Once that's over you have the rest of your life to be an adult. Perhaps that's why childhood is so precious to everyone, because it doesn't last forever.
I'm 15 and this is one of my favorite songs. My dad listens to a lot of Rod Stewart and Bee-gees. I've been listening to all of them almost my whole life. I love the 80's and its legacy is gonna be passed down forever.

This song came out when I was in 3rd grade and I’ve loved it ever since. Rod is my sweet momma’s all-time favorite and we finally saw him in concert together in 2016. The game's dedicated modding community has probably done a way better remaster for the game than Rockstar would be capable of, simply due to how many hobbyist and fans are working on the mods. Multiple graphics enhancement mods are available for the Steam version of the game and they all look amazing. There's even a mod that restores the sky to its glorious original PS2 colors. There's a downgrader tool that reverts the game to a previous version, removing the shitty update that removed 17 songs from the game and screwed up everyone's save files. I highly recommend checking out the Steam version of the game and all of the mods available for it. I've personally been emulating the PS2 version at 4x native resolution, reliving the glory days.
