@@Kat-eb4ck Promote means literally promote. The company gives many contents to feed us fans. Not only giving them musics, albums, comebacks and concerts but also sending and giving them a lot of activities and appear on media like on tv, so more people will recognize them.
So they will grow bigger and reach larger audience.
That's what it's called "promote". That's what agency's job, to make tgem famous, not to lock them dead on their dungeon.

But I’m still confused because I’m particular I see a lot of people say that NCT doesn’t get a lot of promotion, but don’t they have a like 10 TH-cam channels all for a whole bunch of content? Plus they are always busy doing activities and what not. Anyways, I agree CIX is going to be big!
