CIX is amazing for choosing Movie Star as their debut song. When I first be a fan of CIX, Movie Star is the reason why I keep listening to their songs on playlist. I'm not joking, but Movie Star really deserves more wins and awards.
The meaning of the song is very clear and easy to digest. I really like the whole choreography as well. It defines CIX color the best. I just love the way Seunghun is singing in this song. His high notes and adlibs are super amazing. I don't see any other groups can pull of what Seunghun did in Movie Star. His voice is meant for this genre. Very sexy and delicate. And he's also good in dancing which is very rare to see for main vocal.
I also love seeing Jinyoung in the center he looks so good. Black hair Jinyoung is the best in Movie Star. One in a million. Hyunsuk also looks very good and his voice is shining in *TAKE ME HIGH TAKE ME LOW*. Yonghee visual and eyes are top notch. I could see Yonghee is improving day by day and I'm so happy to see how he improved from debut until now. Last but not least BX as main rapper is satisfying. No one can rap better than BX. His diction is so perfect and deep. I love his rap in Movie Star the most!!

BX and Seunghun are a true example of persistence. Seunghun trained for 9 years and I think BX for 7. They never gave up on their dream of becoming an idol and debuting. They've finally done it! Their story really motivates me to never give up on my dreams. Take notes everyone.

This was an unlikely song for a rookie group to debut, it’s too powerful, but that’s the charm of it they pulled it off. You won’t ever think they are rookies. When I listened to them I immediately thought, “Have I been missing this group the entire time?” Turns out they are rookies!!! When I watched the MV it only proved that they dance as good as they sing!! And the visuals.... i can’t.... a monster rookie has been born
